So, I decide to load up Mass Effect 2 for a replay, seems like a good idea. What's this? New DLC quests? Shadowbroker, Kasumi and Overlord add more quests? Sounds like a great idea, pitty they weren't available when I played the game the first time. Nice going guys, looks like I'll have to play through my origional game again to complete them properly - not a good start. But anyway, let's get these things and see if they're worth the effort.
Can't just buy them, need some points. Sounds weird, but ok. Let's buy some points.
In total the cost 800+560+560=1920. Largest value the stor has is 1600. Great. That means two transactions, which means two lots of international transaction fees(yay!). Why is there only hard limits of point buys? The point:$ ratio is the same no matter how many points you buy, so why can't I just buy as many points as I like? All it takes is a box asking how many points I'd like, and then to mutiply that number by a simple scalar to reach AU$.
OK, fine. This DLC better be worth it. I'm really pissed off now.
Paypal can not find masseffect2.bioware......
You're kidding me. After all that crap I went through, I can't even purchase the damn things? You know what? Screw it. I'm not going to try again. I'm so fed up with it that I can't even bring myself to play the game again. You're online store is the worst I've ever seen. It's like you don't want customers. There isn't even an option anywhere for support.
It isn't rocket science. Look at Steam. Look at Tell Tale Games. They're simple to use, they let you buy products outright, and they even give you bonuses for being a loyal customer.
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm not looking for a fix to my imediate problem - that ship's already sailed. This message is basically a big **** you to whomever runs the store. Get your act together. I love your games, please make them easy to aquire.

Post may be old, but still has a point. Buy game at ea store, then have to go to bioware site for dlc, but first have to buy points.....seriously, why? Why the ridiculous points? Xbox, ok. It's a toy, adds a little tee-hee fun for someone I'm sure. But even xbox sells it all in the same place. Just saying.

Wrong forum. It's not about playing the game, its about complaining regarding the site design.
