Sorry your having troubles. What is the nature of the error? Are you getting some sort of message? Blue screen? Crash to desktop?

What version of the game do you have? Is it a physical disc, or is it downloaded (like from Steam)?

Also, what are your graphics settings at?

What security software are you running in real time protection? What are your system temperatures like, partticurlay your video card because playing games puts a load on the card raising the temperatures quite significantly. heat will shut down a system fast.

Looking at the graphics I'm tempted to say your system is underpowered.

im running Norton 360 and i don't know how to check my temps sorry the thing is but a lot of ppl are having the same problem but there is no fix for it as fare as i know of.

Raen i had a look at the post and tried sum of the fixes but its still happening i even dun a fresh install.

the thing is this is 1 of the best games iv played and i wood like to be able to finish it before i play part 2 lol but i just get frustrated with it crashing all the time:(

Are you playing on a laptop? or is this a desktop using the onboard graphics chip? If so, overheating may be an issue, as another poster suggested.

The only other thing I can suggest is turning off any ATI enhancements and trying the game at the absolute smallest graphics with 800X600 resolution. See if it is at least stable. If so, then you can start adding back graphic settings incrementally.

I would suggest getting some monitoring software like CPUID HW monitor-- http://www.cpuid.com...wmonitor.html  .  The free version will work.  Start it and leave it running minimized during gameplay.

Well... consider leaving the ATI enchancements off.  A mobile graphcis chip will never perform the same as a video card of the same kind.
