Does anybody at Bioware know if the demo is going to XBox Live Gold exclusive or is it going to be available to everybody for the XBox 360 on the 22nd.

It'd be silly of Microsoft to have the demo Gold exclusive when it's up on PSN. Seems like a very bad idea. Then again, perhaps they've done so before.

Jesus, the way people are complaining and whining, you’d think Bioware was threatening to burn down people’s houses and kick their pets if they don’t participate in this. Just because that is how I got my friends on board, doesn’t mean Bioware would do this.





Seriously, I see nothing wrong with this. It’s a way of advertising and spreading the word. It’s not some diabolical plot to take over the world using social networking, ffs.

I mean honestly I just find it funny that of all things, they offer 2 generic completely irellevant books, I mean sure I'll take them, but I would've downloaded the demo anyway. I just don't see this working out all that well, but then again as said earlier, it probably took them all of 5 minutes to make these books so they don't really lose anything by throwing this out in the wilds.

Damn, 'suddenly remembers seeing a Xbox Live trial leaflet  recently in a games box' .......Yeah, I've got a 48 hour trial leaflet, hopefully it'll work okay and i'll be able to avoid a extra weeks wait on the demo if Microsoft do act the douchebags.

As easy and convenient as it would be to divide everyone up into trolls vs. sycophants, there are a wide spectrum of people on these forums and it's pretty tacky on either side to disregard the other's opinion. The BSN probably has a larger proportion of people supporting Bioware (for, uh, obvious reasons), and occasionally it does wander into the "uh, are you seriously in favour of ____?" territory, but that doesn't invalidate those people's views. The same is true for people that are, uh, less than enamoured with DA2.

Lol i hope people do man.  You guys make great games, Dragon Age Origins is the only game i have played multiple play throughs.  And i have played games all the way back to atari.  No matter what people nitpick about your games, they are good.  Cant wait for the demo/game,  you guys keep up the good work.   signed-a loyal fan.
