I get what's happening, CP wants the people who are still passionate about the company to get the word out.
There are a
lot less of those lately, though ... from such things as the 2-1-11 fiasco, the BioWare Bazaar fiasco, the annoying silence from ME2/3's dev team (and don't give me that the response from us crazy fans is the reason; DA's fans are almost exactly as crazy on occasion and yet DG still drops by regularly, just ignoring the insane ones), and, dare I say it, Chris's own active trolling the fanbase. (Seriously? Who writes 'has evil laugh' in a post? Which dates back to his dogged insistence that a female on the cover of
Jade Empire was the reason the game tanked, which in turn makes me want to slap the man over the head with my copies of
Bloodlines, Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Metroid, not to mention the fact every single version of GTA since 3 has a female on the cover, and Elder Scrolls games have no
males on the cover... /rant)
I'm not saying you don't have the right to still go nuts about the company, there are just an awful lot of people who have the attitude, "Nuh uh, not falling for it. Show me what you got before I make up my mind to love it." Even I'm only cautiously optimistic,
after the greatest triumph the company's had in years just happened to directly target me and my friends (LotSB, natch).
