Uhm, its all over. PC, PS3, Xbox. It's doable but they would have been smarter to release it friday, that way they take advantage of the three day weekend that just happened.

I wonder how much that number is skewed by people like me who have a Gold account but also made a Silver for playing couch co-op games when I have friends over.

So those of us who have a silver account can't download the demo on XBox until next week? Great. I guess I'll be playing on my computer in the meantime.

Interesting there's no dagger amongst these pre-release items. I felt daggers were the best weapons in Dragon Age: Origins, especially for rogues. I hope there's a couple sweet daggers in Dragon Age 2. Getting excited! Sorry for getting off-topic a bit.

Why would that be silly? You mean, why would anyone download the demo on the day before or the day of release? But some demos don't even come out until the day of release. Maybe it would even be better for sales, building up hype by offering this incentive all the way up to release day so that it's fresh on people's minds leading to impulse honeymoon stage buying decisions rather than letting them take a week to cool off and realize it wasn't really that fun and they don't want to buy it anymore. Yeah.

Didn't the announcement say it was coming out for gold & silver at the same time.......*checks announcement thread*, damn its been edited. Marketing department strikes again I suppose, luckily I found some 48 hour gold trial leaflets yesterday.

So I think I just found a couple of unused 48 hour Xbox Live codes from games I bought a while ago but never used...If I activated one of those, could I download the demo? D:

its microsoft and sony that decide to the schedule of reslease times cos it has to go with their normal weekly scheduled updates to the xbox or ps3 . and gold before silver makes sence since silver is free so why be gold if u got everything the same time as silver ?

The download will appear on the Xbox live marketplace during 12-2 am PST, meaning Pacific Standard Time. You need to calculate what time that will be in the UK respectively. It is not out at midnight in the UK, it will be later in the day.
