Okay yeah...not reading the 28 pages of posts but not being able to download a demo unless you have a "gold membership" to something is just stupid. So not only do they need a million people to download before March 1st or 8th, but those people also need to be "gold members"? Wow.



I just don't get it...

Downloaded the X360 demo, unlocked the in-game item for finishing it ( = logged into EA account) - now I am waiting for the PC demo. Does it count as two downloads or is it only one because only one EA account was/will be used?



PS: Only read the officials' posts and also not reading all of the 28 previous pages. An answer would be nice, though.

They will easily reach a million downloads sans silver accounts.  Remember, this is across all platforms.  They were going to hit a million downloads even without the promotion.

I was gonna get all three demos for the sake of comparison.

Having the XBL "Gold-lock" the demo might hurt the Call to Arms promo a bit, seeing as not everyone will be willing to pay for a free demo. (That includes creating a dummy account on XBL).

Haven't seen the PSN version yet. Hoping that it won't be PS+ exlusive when it is posted.

As for promo items though, personally I'm more interested in the Razor than the diaries. I wonder if finishing the PC demo will unlock any of these for the console versions, or if we have to finish per platform.

You will be able to download it in a week from now. For many years silver subsribers had to wait a week for demos. A perk of having gold. You can still get it for free before march 1....  Stop whining...

Who's whining?.. I'm getting it on PC for now, and getting the others when they unlock, even if it's after March 1st. Don't speak down to me like I'm a kid just because I'm looking forward to BioWare's work. <_<

Thx. Just my luck - found the answer in the demo tech forum later...  ^.^

Anyways, I am downloading the PC version, too. German X360 version was... yuck. English PC version will be more familiar and I need the DLC item to unlock on the PC.

I don't understand how anyone could pay for online at all. I don't understand why people let Microsoft **** on them with paid online. It is ridiculous.
