I just don't get it...

you can make a new account , get one month gold free and download the demo. then you can play it on your main-account too. thats what i allways do in such a case.

Did you check under 'Your Registered Game Promotions' in the Profile menu? It should be listed if you beat the demo.

It takes a few moment to register, but then it should be under 'Your registered game promotions'.

Hope the rest of this game is great. I think the fighting is kind of "bubble gumish". Little ridiculous in my opinion.

Alright, I know this is the same question going around, but I beat the demo, and I had my EA account linked, but I didn't get any notice about the ingame item we were supposed to get. Any ideas?

I got a friend of mine to play the demo on the 360.



I even played it AS he played it. We went through the demo at the same time(my second playthrough was simultaneous with his first).



I explained everything to him, and he LOVED every bit of it. He thinks the final game is gonna ROCK. Definite purchase for him.



I tried to get another friend of mine to play the demo AFTER he plays DAO, but he doesn't care. He's not a story buff, so he'll totally ruin the story for himself and then say the game sucks.



Still, I helped.

I have downloaded the demo for my PS3 and PC and I even turned on my xbox just to download the demo... so I have contributed 3 downloads....



...However, is the counter counting TOTAL number of downloads across all platforms, or only counting the PC downloads?

heh the download is misleading, as per the website



To get your download counted, you will need to log into your EA account while playing the demo.



like I said about an hr or 2 ago, getting 1 million download isn't hard, getting 1 million people to sign up / sign into their EA account is... esp if they have no intention of buying DA2
