No, they do not.  The rules say "Offer expires March 1, 2011."  Combined with the fact that page most definitely also says "before", well, do the math.

I still think the extra items will be given/ credited to the demo accounts even if the 1 million mark isnt reached. I just dont see the point in pissing off the customers/fans who support your company.

Agreed, and even more so if it is your own short comings. EAs over reaching caused this, and to not reward it for something that is not the players (customers) fault is a bit crappy.

856800+ downloads so far, which isn't all that bad imo. But, me too believe that Bioware will give us the items even if it doesn't hit 1 million downloads.

No, marketing failed us, just a little advice, don't get into a mindset where you think you are responsible for their failure, it was them who asked us for this favor, we are just free marketing to them, unpaid reps.

It's EA right to do that, but its bad business. Most of the fans downloading the demo have been the most interested/supporting of the DA series, and are dying to purchse the new game., why would anyone want to ****** them off?

I don't think they're trying to ****** us off. I, for one, won't be pissed off. They said "help us get 1 million people to download this and we'll give you this thing!" And we tried and couldn't get 1 million. Why should I be pissed off that they didn't give me a prize anyway?

Like someone else said before i could type my message,

Thing is we dont have the right to be pissed off. We were only promised the Razor for playing the demo. The one million thing is bonus and if we dont hit it, we dont have the right to be pissed off for not hitting the requirements.

The Razor was you're reward for supporting them by downloading the demo, not the books.


The books are the reward for a grander mass of people supporting them as a whole of a total of 1 million people.

I bet you were the type when your teacher went " If you get an A ill give you some candy and if the class as a whole gets 90% or better on the test, get to watch a movie." raged at the teacher saying when there was no movie because a couple of people got bad grades.


Yes its unfair. but the requirements were as a whole. Not just you. You were already rewarded for your action.

I would think other wise if the only dlc that was gotten from the demo was the 1 million download items. I would even understand more. You downlaoded and supported them, so you should get sometime. Understandable, but you did get the razor and therefore was rewarded,

You wouldn't rage at the teacher if you got the required grade but missed your movie 'cause 13% of the class didn't? Well you should, its not your fault if those 13% don't get the required grades. Its not fair, and therefore its wrong, regardless of what the rules say.

*Note* I'm not really bothered about the books, but there will be backlash for them not being given, and it will be completly justified.

Also, the teacher could of said no movie at all, even if the class got 100%. She put it there as a motivation tool for everyone to do good.
