finished it.. i'm assuming the demo skips a lot of exposition because it feels disjointed. also there seem to be some technical issues particularly right before cutscenes/dialogue but i'd guess this sorta stuff was fixed before it went gold.



that said i like the improvements to combat. it's more violent and frantic and a bit stylized. also the art style changes aren't even really noticeable. except the darkspawn and flemeth look different. idk why flemeth looks different since the beginning of da2 takes place right after your warden from da:o leaves lothering



but looking at the skill tree, and i'm not sure if this is true, it looks as if mages can no longer become arcane warriors. and arcane warrior was my favorite class.. it looked like they had it in the original trailer didnt it?

its not out yet on pc so why would there be a download link?
