You know downloading the demo from anywhere other then xbox live, ps3 network or the DA2 website probably won't count towards the million goal counter for the free items... just throwing that out there.

I am downloading it from both so the one from Bioware will count and I will ge to play sooner rather then later.

Downloaded it from bioware with several hours supposedly left to complete it, then suddenly it said it was done, but then got an error. Any input?

Your download errored out, delete the one you got and start over.

In that case I'd probably wait several hours for things to die down before trying again. Once there aren't so many people trying to get it at once you'll probably have better luck.

Apparently not right now. They took it down a while ago. Probably to save bandwidth as it updated live.

I'm kind of wondering whether the counter we saw was supposed to be public facing. It looked like it was updating live with the number of people hitting the DL link, which, if you have to login to your EA account for it to "count" would be a bit misleading to put on the public DL page.

I think that counter may have been more for Bioware/EA's benefit than ours.

The same thought occurred to me, especially as it had that map that showed where the hits were originating from.
