Btw the radial menu is far better than the simple 4 line menu, specially that your char talks xD in origins he was a bit shy lol

Is there no word from Bioware or Sony regarding the PS3 demo? I've been checking the Playstation store for nearly 21 hours now, starting one minute past midnight. Man, I'm used to deadlines being spot on.

Check the demo thread in "General Discussion". If you're outside the US, the PS3 demo isn't up until tomorrow.

I think PS3 Network just update their stuff from 7-11pm PST, so you might wanna wait the 23rd. I'm downloading for the pc now, probably won't be able to run on high settings, but I can play again tomorrow on the PS3

 Anyone having problems with the PC Demo.. I complete the first bit when Varric makes up the Story but when it comes to Name change/ Appearance screen, pressing the 'Start Game' button causes it to crash the Demo happened everytime....

Try to dumb down video settings and see if it goes foward.

EDIT: Oh-oh, 2 people having same issue in a row...bad feeling about this...

I can consistently dowload games at over 800kb/s, but this is only going at around 50. It seems like a lot of others are having this problem... is there anyway to speed this up right now?

I am Dling from Bioware. Was at 40 - 130kbs now 20 - 35 kbs. I found that ( www.fileplanet.com/218846/210000/fileinfo/Dragon-Age-2-Demo-%28English%29 ) is much faster. I am downloading it at 3.3 - 3.7mb . I am not goint o run the programe though. I am not sure if sites like this have a hidden process in it wich only takes a few kb difference to have a command/process for when we input our acount info to send it to a third party. Use at your own risk sites like this. Faster yes, more secure ?

I've looked at gameplay videos of the demo. The mages new attack style looks cool. But I still hop there's something that's a little more Arcane Warrior like (being almost untouchable) c:

It was a lot of fun. Sadly i'd be lying if I said it had an 'awe' factor that made me utterly entralled, but thats a good thing, since it means I can enjoy finishing my Origins playthrough to import. I still have no doubt i'm going to love the game... it's just the main draw for me is the companions and banter.



Liked the Hawke's voices (male AND female). Tried out Rogue and Mage, finding Rogue suprisingly squishier but also more versatile. Loved the 'guest' appearance and the responses they give to a snarky-Hawke. Oh, and one thing I really did love was snarky Hawke.



Had a few bugs though. Primarily I couldn't sign into my EA account, for some reason it kept trying to access one of my disc/floppy/virtual drives instead of logging me in. Bizzare. On launch my entire screen was bright yellow but a minimize and maximize fixed that. Worst was when it came to Chantry. For some reason the loading screen image was stuck on the screen; despite being able to move the camera around nothing would load except text and I could click nothing.



Hoping that the log-in thing is just me or that another way is offered so I can get my download registered.
