I believe it says on the page one million downloads not one million people. Expecting one million people alone to download this demo...they had this plotted since the beginning those darn dirty apes

It's kind of hard for me to believe that people spammed the demo enough to equate to 300k downloads. I don't know about anyone else, but it seems like a waste of time and effort.

That must of been extremely organized.  Seems kind of odd 300k downloads would have been people trying to download it over and over again.  Even if we don't reach 1 million its not a big deal.  I will still have the other pre order content which will be more then enough.

300k is kinda heavy... specially if you consider that the xbox users that don't wanna or can't spend the cash on gold membership are kinda screwed. removing 30+ % of the downloads... seems a bit extreme (unless the numbers can be backed up somehow? in which case you can ignore this 'rant')



Yeah they only some xp /gold books but still. I vote that if we don't hit 1 million and are off by like a few downloads, Bioware should play nice and give us our loot anyway!

Bioware, your wording said 1,000,000 downloads, whether it is the same person downloading it over again (which I hardly believe anyone would do it over 300,000 times for two in game books) it wasn't an illegal move as you didn't specify it needed to be 1,000,000 different people... Also seriously, those two books have already been created by your team, you aren't giving away real money, you guys were losing nothing why do this?

The one reason why I think we won't hit the one million is because xboxlive sliver accounts, they cannot play until March 1st, that is our deadline so we are loosing couple of thousand votes right5 there.

Plus you can't download the demo from the german ps3 store which is a big loss because Bioware has a huge fanbase in Germany and the ps3 outruns the xbox 9:1 in numbers here.

No... it only counts if you have an EA account which is a ridiculous stipulation to make something incredibly easy turn out to be much more difficult. I'm sure a million people downloaded it and just don't have an EA account, don't watch the website and don't care about two books.

remember a lot of people will not download due to spoilers or don't frequent the site so it won't reflect sales at all.Fallout new vegas did 5million plus in what first week ,DA2 will be fine.btw I think DA2's story will crap on da:o story.

The staff, belt and sword are all linked to your EA account so it will be there aslong as you log into that specific account

I don't know about that go to Profile and then to registered game promotions. Next to Haydar's Razor I only see 360 (which is what I used).

ah but still... its like  a lot 300,000

I mean we get what two books that allow a bit more xp if I am correct... that's a lot of motivation for just two books to get the vote up by 300,000....
