Not 3-5 day after the demo launch (except if people act weird for once). The first day it's plausible... But days later ? Forget that... It's certainly not legit. I'm also pretty sure XBox Live and PSN download are not count. Could be wrong, but i didn't find any script allowing BioWare to know if someone downloaded it on console.

Dont forget that today is Friday.  lots people were busy on fist 4 days of week and now they have some free time after work, school, uni. ETC. so it is possible for sudden rise of  downloads

Tbh, I would have thought that a counter indicating actual individual account gamers launching the game, would have been more appropriate instead of a counter which doesn't actually give us actual figures leading to the release of additional content Mind you, I just want to play the game

Well, I downloaded and enjoyed the demo, linked it to my EA account... told some friends that I thougth might be interested about the demo (some of which don't frequest the forums)... and posted a link and my own Call to Arms on my Facebook page.  Now, all I can do is sit back and await the real numbers, both recalculated by BW and once we reach the deadline.

Really wish that instead of the dealine being before March 1st it was by March 1st (i.e. including March 1st), so that the Xbox Silver account holders were given a chance to contribute to this campaign.

I admit I had to download the demo twice. First time it stop and started so I gave up and then tried somewhere else and that was going slooooooow so tried here again and it downloaded fine. Im sure some of the downloads they discounted were for things like that.

Errr... I was referring to the Call to Arms campaign, not the Facebook Legends offer.

But anyways... I do not believe so.  The 5 unlockable goodies from Legends are still on track. Don't believe they are available yet in Beta, but am guessing once the game goes live, we'll get a clearer picture of just what we have to do in the Facebook game to unlock those 5 goodies.

Here is the fine print from the Legends offer off the DA2 site:

well i know i bloated the number by dl the demo 6 times, 4 times when the demo didn't dl correctly and fraction of the file was downloaded. And one time by not checking the forum for the dx dll problem.

Anyone else see the counter changing numbers changing everytime you refresh the page?

somthing tells me about another 500k+ did spamm again since counter has reached 1 mil and it was only 500k earlyer

much as id hate to say this with all the problems the counter is having trouble with id say to cancel the tomes
