At the most they should cancel the promotion but i think they should still give them to the accounts that did dl them as sort of an addition to the razor.

I just don't think the DLC should be wasted and they should appease the non spamming fans so they reduce the backlash for the promo bust.

The worst case scenario would be they cancel the promo and make us have to pay for them on release day by putting them on live/PSN. That would really tick off some people imo.

Hahaha I've known that for ages, all you need to look at is kids these days (wow I'm 20 and sound like 40 lol) they are all so annoying and alot of them are stupid haha.

Frankly if they punish those of us that have taken part fairly, then Bioware will be dropped from the very short list of companies and game developers Is till respect. I've never been a fan of 'punish the class, to punish the one'.



I've taken part, and even got a few family members to take part, and now all this. It's just been really badly handled so far. A counter? Seriously? The original idea of tracking it by EA accounts was better. Still easy enough to make another account - but still more bother than a counter. Yeesh.

Well I'm in my early 20's so I'm kind of a part of the future right?

I'll try my best to brighten the horizon.

I'm more upbeat than ususal for some reason.

Plus it isn't as annoying as kids upping there own comments on youtube imo, though in this situation there actions are actually taking away something from others.

Fortunately DA 2 bows have knockback.

On a side note the recoil for a Dwarf is pretty funny to see.

I don't think one can spam downloads, since the download counters only go up AFTER you download and sign in with a valid EA account.

They obviously can spam downloads, Chris already told us thats why they took away however many points, earlier.

Like sierra said, the counter tracks the number of EA Accounts that logged into the demo not the amount of people who downloaded the demo. Therefore each account can only count once, so while it is plausible to spam, they would have had to make more accounts.

Do you have any other possible explanation for the sudden boom of increased downloads then?

Yesterday when I last checked the counter it was barely increasing and still around 550k.  When I checked back today the counter was around 900k + a massive boost of 300 ~ 400 each time the counter updates.

Don't tell me that a lot of people are downloading it at the moment. I strongly doubt it. Especially in such numbers.
