considering its well over a million right now and still rising, isnt it safe too assume, that a million has been achieved fairly? i think the last time i saw it, it was 1.26mil, so....

At the most they should cancel the promotion but i think they should still give them to the accounts that did dl them as sort of an addition to the razor.

I just don't think the DLC should be wasted and they should appease the non spamming fans so they reduce the backlash for the promo bust.

The worst case scenario would be they cancel the promo and make us have to pay for them on release day by putting them on live/PSN. That would really tick off some people imo.  

at most 5 bucks more lol and only those who think they need the extra help lol:whistle:
or just take off the counter on the page and then tells us 1 or 2days prior  to its realease date if we made it

spammers hard at work yesterday 4pm pst give or take it was 525k or some were around there i really do not think it would be as many dls

I find this a little humorous to be honest. This counter clock thing just isn't working out... But it is strange that people are spamming something that can only be achieved by logging into a singular account that they have... I thought they said it couldn't be downloading it, but logging in. So, some pretty good hackers I guess...

 Ok, now this is weird.  We must have some *serious* spammers for it to jump past 1.2 million on the 3rd day.

Wonder if BW will slap on another penalty.

Will the *actual* sales figure for DA2 match the demo download figures?!  I hope so ...

BW employee: OK people we need to figure out what went wrong. Apparantently, according to our latest counter result, 50 million people dled the demo but only 3.5 million people bought the game. Let's put our heads together.

- they'll reset it to reality and update it later and frequently with the

I personally think the real numbers are around 750,000 but it could be less, I would be surprised if it turned above 800k

So by spamming are they referring to multiple emails from the same I.P. address? Since it requires a log in to add you number to the counter I don't know how else it would be done since it's not supposed to track downloads but actual account log ins within the demo.

from what i understand of whats been said by fernando and someone who posted the javascript of the counter, the counter on the demo page counts the pc only by itself and the devs update that with the xbl psn and mirror download sites count.

the only way i can think of how to do that is to have 4 or more counters total that they add together to update the one on the demo page
