Quick! Somebody host a playthrough of the DA2 demo in church, thus, spreading awareness of the game to a demographic who normally would have ignored anything to do with the industry.

I'm sorry if I offend, but now I imagine the joining involving Dr.Pepper and killing anybody who naturally has type 1 diabetes due to the sugar content of said beverage.

I second this, i say the razor sword u get from completing the demo will be at more help anyway 

To add to that... that twohanded sword I get playing the demo I have no use for either playing rouge, and I am not shure anybody of my companion can use it either.

I read some argument about promo and religious people and false goods in DA-games.

As far I know religious peoples also play RPG games :-) We all make sins is being said.

And exclude everyone outside of the U.S. in having such a promotion, yes that is indeed very considerate. Atleast this way we (international gamers) get some DLC.

We need about 70,000 downloads a day to make it by Tuesday at this rate. One day contains roughly 80,000 seconds, so we need at least 1 download per second.

My thought is that it'll happen, one way or another. To my knowledge, we haven't received any official explanation about the dropped numbers (which I'm sure I'll quickly be corrected on after this post if I'm off-base). I cannot speak for anyone but myself, but I briefly stopped hawking this to my friends as something they needed to do OMGNAO after I saw that we'd hit the 1.2K mark.

On top of that, we didn't really get much advance notice of this promotion (less than a week prior to it going into effect), and it's in a fairly narrow timeframe (a week-long event, two weeks prior to the release), and is not prominently featured on the front page (there's just a "download the demo" notice where the demo counter and a summary of the call to arms really should be). BioWare's bound to be focusing on the actual release, of course, but at the very least, the promotion for this should be at the top of the homepage, not the bottom. Such a low priority location is no doubt contributing to the low numbers.

But if I'm wrong and the items just get scrapped you all can start a hategroup on facebook "Die CaolIla Die! (Not related to the Scotch but to the douche in bioware's forum)" and blame me ; )

Itll either go that way, or as thus:  Much in the same way you stated the scenario of "exceptional achievement, blah blah...to commemorate our fans, we've decided to make the content available for 350 BW points...enjoy. lol
