At the moment i write this the download counter is at 829552.



It is a bit unlikely that there will be close 170000 downloads in a couple of days, though i do hope that more people will be available to download the demo today as it is a sunday.



Personally i've ordered two versions of the game so that i can collect as much DLC as i can.

I think it will be close but we can do it. We have until Monday to get it and it is the weekend now so there should be a surge there. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

im afraid at this rate we cant do it i dont think we ever had a chance after bioware removed that 300k from the counter

Indeed. I think the 500k were right, probably the number of fake download was really next to; but the first 300l removed were too much!

Im not worried honestly, Im calling it right now; Regardless of whether or not we make the quota, the content will be made available through some other means. Most likely through the purchase of X amount of points.

Could be, but it's not the same if they are available through purchasing or just playing a demo!

Meh, the only difference is "free" and "not free" lol....Given, "free" would be nice.  But after seeing what the two items actually do, it's yet another reason why Im not worried too much about it.

Blame the spammers. They spammed it up to 1,2kk. So it got dumbed down again. To around 780k or something.

Just downloaded the demo via STEAM and finished it. I didn't liked Dragon Age Origins but Dragon Age 2 controls is MUCH more smoother and easy to navigate and control!! Oh and by the way, I played two different demos of the game one for PC and one for PS3. Hands down the PC rocks and the PS3 has some serious lag/buffer in the game. It's as if that there is too much going on that the PS3 can't take it whereas the PC runs it smooth. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

There is no way they are going to sell them as part of another content or individually... it's not like they're some gear they designed, it's just books, if we don't get it and they aren't feeling like giving them to us for effort they will simply trash em. imo

Or perhaps they'll include them in some DLC package at a later time, much like the Gifts thing for DA1.

Sell them?!?  What has this world come to when people will willingly pay $ for a couple items in a single player rpg?!?  Please do not encourage that kind of behavior.  If we get anywhere close to a million, and they value their customers like they should, they will just hand them out as thanks anyway.
