Well all in all I am hoping that we will be able to achieve the 1 million mark but if not I trust Bioware to deliver, they always do.

it would be sad if we couldnt reach the 1 mill mark without the spammers help. relisisticly they still did it more for our benifit then there own. im not saying what was done was right but i understand the reasoning behind it and i hold no grudge agaisnt them for it but thats my opinion.

Actually, I wonder if it is more for EA's or Bioware's benefit.

Could this be an attempt to meet end of month numbers for stockholders?

I imagine being able to report 1,000,000 demo downloads in less than one week on a month end finanacial report might create some "buzz" for EA stock.

Tbh... Even if we did not get the books and BW made them available for purchase, I wouldn't buy them unless it had something else in the pack worth the money. It's just a couple of books that boost money and exp. Do you really need to spend money for a few exp points and money when you can just do quests and kill enemies for? Not to mention it is a SINGLE PLAYER RPG. There's not a need to compete with someone over levels and money.

Then again, that's just my opinion.

Apparently, you need DirectX 10 to run the demo. If you have XP your S.O.L.

I dl'ed it and tried to run it and I get an error maybe its a corrupt dl. Hmm, Ill try again.

Reinstall and if that does not work then download it again.

Whoa, the DL counter jumped at least a thousand points in just a few minutes.

Lets hope they stay there this time, and that it happens again and again...

If you have DirectX 11 it goes up to high quality graphics, which is nice Can't wait to see the highest level once the game is released.
