Fair enough, and true enough lol.  Still though, as Ive said, we'll still get the items regardless.  The only difference will be if we get the goal = Free  and if we dont = X amount of points lol.

BioWare knows they can nickel and dime me, so I'll purchase them if we don't unlock them and they go on sale. 

I might, denpending on how long the "buff" from these books last.  If they're permananet, then sure I will most likely.  But if it's a termporary buff, then probably not.

Anyway reaching almost 900k downloads in just a few days means that we've done a great job and also means that probably DA II will be more succesful than Origins!

BW gets all this publicity and demo downloads and might charge us(not buying) for the items.

Didn't like the one week deadline either.

were not going to get it because it was 1mil last week, now its 800k. and in 2 hours is 1/3/2011 so I dont think we gonna make it.

Heh, getting the books would just be the proverbial icing on the cake for me.  Something to make the sweet taste of "I told them so" even sweeter

@Hezz - The time difference thing is why I always add SBT (Standard Bioware Time) to anything regarding deadlines/release dates lol.

Haha yeah I gotta say I agree, it would def put the icing on the cake, I mean the game is going to be awesome with or without the tomes, but it would be a big "up yours" to the naysayers and haters lol.

Well, here it's 14 p.m. of the 28th, and I know that Bioware time is 9 hours less than italian one.
So, even if the 1st march won't ben included, there are still lots of hours!

But from the looks of it, we won't make it, unless the XBOX counter is somehow seperate and they have to add that manually later, in which case we could still make it.

By the way, if we don't make it and Bioware decides to not reward our effort, then I don't think these items are going to be nickle and dimed either. Seriously, selling DLC for some bonus gold and XP? In a scaling game? That's got to be the silliest DLC ever. Though they could always add them to some other DLC, for example, as bonus items you can find within a quest of some DLC content.

I am one of the sad ones who would actually buy them if I had to, I sort of love DLC for games I play alot and if the demo is any indication of the game I will love this game as much as the first. I would however be a tad suprised if the sold them just as they are without as you said with another DLC.

this is lol i cant run the demo due to something is missing and i dont think a reinstall will work because if it did not work the first time whats to stop not working a second time

Which is why I said I may or may not buy them...If you use the xp item and it's a permanent "buff" then sure, I'd buy it. But if it's just something that last X amount of time then nah, I'd pass unless, as you said, it was made available in some future DLC.
