Yeah there is no way we will get 1million, most of us now are hoping BW will give them to us anyway lol.

Seriously, selling DLC for some bonus gold and XP? In a scaling game? That's got to be the silliest DLC ever. Though they could always add them to some other DLC, for example, as bonus items you can find within a quest of some DLC content.

I am one of the sad ones who would actually buy them if I had to, I sort of love DLC for games I play alot and if the demo is any indication of the game I will love this game as much as the first. I would however be a tad suprised if the sold them just as they are without as you said with another DLC.

Which is why I said I may or may not buy them...If you use the xp item and it's a permanent "buff" then sure, I'd buy it. But if it's just something that last X amount of time then nah, I'd pass unless, as you said, it was made available in some future DLC. 

I don't know why but I seem to think they are permanent buffs, it just seems like a lot of effort for something that is temporary. So yeah I'm in the same boat as you, if they are permanent the I would buy them if they aren't I wouldn't waste the time or money on them.

Ok so I'm sure we will reach 900k, maybe 950k..of course it seems impossible to reach 1 million, but i really don't know how many Xbox players will download the demo tomorrow..

This is a bit of recollection from a source I can't remember (may/may not be official), but I think someone said that the xbox360/PC versions talked to each other while the PS3 version doesn't.  But take that with a big grain of salt.

In leiu of that though, a dagger and bow are about the only weapons we're missing at this point as far as "added content" goes lol.

once you complete the demo the free wep is added to your on line profile and is avalible on all platforms as i have only completed the demo on 360 and yet i look at my premotion items list and it says i have it on all 3 so no worrys dude :happy: you will have your free wep no matter what


also on another note for some reason DA2 plays better then DA:O/A on my low end comp so thats a huge LOL for me

You must be special or something because I completed it on PS3 and only have the blade available for PS3.  Lucky you

One million downloads was a bit too steep considering some of the console limitations, and how many people download demos anyway. We are only at 872,000, so I'm thinking we won't make it. We have one day left until the deadline.

you are correct i just did a check and only 360 for the wep i must have been thinking about the staff ohh well just meens i will have to complete the PC demo as well should not be to hard as it plays better then origins for some reason

May be related to which platform(s) you've got "Registered" with your EA account Profile.  I have some (maybe all?) of the DA:O promo items showing on my Player Entitlements page for all three platforms, but I've only ever registered a PC version of any game.  Unlike "Hindsight" and the "Staff of Parthalan", (which both appear for all three) Haydor's Razor is olny showing for the PC, the one on which I played the Demo...

i dont understand all the heat for the "changed" style.

all they really did, and you can run DA:O and DA2 side by side as i did, is increase auto attack speed for it doesn't seem like i am in the matrix, and made special attacks look a hell of a lot better, and restricted camera zoom. otherwise the play it literally the same damn thing it was before.

While I have to disagree with you on the combat being pretty much the same, I will say that I am enjoying the difference. The backstab power alone will make the rogues more useful in situations where I don't want to have to entirely micromanage the entire team to make sure the rogues are consistently behind their targets. Really, the only thing I don't care for so far is the insanely long recharge on the heal spell.

I liked the old style, but I also like the new one. I'm adaptable!

I agree. The only reason (according to me) to have a gold account on xbox360 is to play online with other people. But it's pretty expensive and if you're like me, who just prefers to play single-player games or multiplayer with a friend next to you, you don't need a gold account. 

So why do you have to have a gold account to download a game that's single-player? I'm a Dragon Age fan, but having to payed account to download their demo... Nu-uh, sorry, count me out on this one :c 
I did not answer the call because of this. The demo looks fun though, watched some gameplay of it on youtube.
