I can't believe we didn't make it... This has to be some sort of mistake.

10 million people pay $15 per month to dump their lives in WoW, but only 900 000 people downloaded the free demo of what shapes to be the greatest fantasy RPG of all times...

There is something I dont really understand... the silver XBL members... why cant they download the demo... there is no restrictions on the demo, it is free for all... it is just to sign up on an account and play the demo on whatever (PC,Xbox...whatever)... you dont have to buy DAwhatever either... this goes for silver also I should think?

Edit: The silver members. later on they can download the demo for their system in no haste and still get the items... there is no restriction told when passing 1 million

AND there is 14 houer left to 1. March PST

The demo is unavailable for silver accounts, when my silver account goes onto the Dragon Age 2 demo link it says:

Demo Available for Gold Players....

Then it asks me if I would like to purchase Gold account using my credit card...

That is not cool.

you have to have gold membership to get the demo on the xbox before march 1st

Silver members can't download the demo. It's blocked for them at the moment. That's one advantage of paying for a Gold account, you get demos one week earlier (among other things like playing ONLINE, discount on arcade games etc.)

I don't understand why this ends on March 1st and not later?!

Its not ilegal to DL the demo but like rabid says you have to pay to get a gold membership and that really sucks

People who have xbox live gold membership could dl it since the 22nd but free silver members had to wait.

I think it's because of Microsoft's policies.

So the demo is always free but the membership that allows dls asap are not.

This may seem like a hassle, (and I apologize if it has been mentioned before) but it is possible to create a new gamertag on the Xbox and with every new gamertag you make, you get the gold account for free for a month. I know that is what I had to do in order to play the demo. As long as you use your EA account login info, it will be fine. What gamertag you use doesn't matter

I have both Xbox and PS3 but only dl'd it for PS3 because A.) The PS3 version is where all my Origins data is so thats why we're getting the PS3 SE.  and B.)Because of the XBL bs with gold accounts.  sorry, Im not signing up for a gold account just so I can download a demo regardless if my first month is free or not lol.

The benefit for gold really is not worth it to me anyway.

I can play online with friends or Random people of the street....I am sorry but I could always have my friends come to MY home and play together, briefing is also not that fun to deal with...no thanks

Get discounts on arcade games...I was not going to purchase Snoopy's Flying Ace anyway....no thanks

Demo available earlier...okay in this one circumstance I want this, but many other games I do not care about. Not worth the money.

Also roughly half of the Xbox players do not have gold accounts...that is a huge amount of players.

Srry for turning this into a console war but i just said what i feel, im a full PC user and thought that consoles are at a very lower lvl in everything. If you want something well done... do it on a pc xD
