[Ghost Lightning]

Mass Effect 1. To much armor/weapons/upgrade. And the countless copy paste environments weren't to my liking. Also, the Maiko wasn't my favorite vehicle. And the "combat" was terrible IMHO. Great story, bad game play.

Final Fantasy: Typical JRPG, copy pasta the same characters and plot over and over again.

Oblivion: An hour or two in and I'm nearly bored to tears.

Edit: Legend of Zelda: So overrated.

Halo... I cant help but feel there was potential that was crushed by relatively absurd story mechanics and plot holes.

I just really cant stand Halo, although I love Red vs Blue... guess I put more importance on story... go figure

Starcraft II. Not a bad game, but I don't understand why people love it so much. Not very new or special, quite dull, unimaganitive and not very challenging at most times. Worth one playthrough (maybe 2 to see alternate paths, I did) and playing online against friends.

Also, I was very dissappointed with Sniper: Ghost Warrior. Not like it was going to be awesome or anything, but I really wanted it to be great and realistic. The trailers were good.

I'm waiting for DA2 and Crysis 2. You'll see me again somewhere during the summer...

Call of Duty - like the OP, my family plays it nonstop. In fact, as I"m typing this, I am listening to the sounds of battle.

Gears of War - Same premise. Maybe that's what I'm hearing now?

Grand Theft Auto IV - One word: boring.

Assassin's Creed - I just couldn't get into the first game. After that, my distaste sort of spiraled out of control. Eh.

Black Ops Face it, its not very good, and the weapon stats are just FUBAR, honestly besides the illusion of being a bad ass I have no clue why anyone plays it.



GTA4 AH yes "Realistic Gameplay" If I really want to know how it is to be a drug dealing assassin fighting the law I will for better or worse do it for real. In the Mean time bring back the crazy **** like selling drugs from an Ice Cream truck, K? I haven't liked any of the GTA games short of Vice City actully.



Several platforms, Devil May Cry, Assassins Creed, a few others I try not to think of.



Ah yes Katamari Damashii, because whiping out all life to rebuild a moon my stupid dad ruined seems like a GREAT idea!



Halo Reach, gameplay wise I can deal, but it just killed the canon, and some of the weapons are just stupid, like the DMR, and God save you should you go on that forum with any thing bad to say or dare question a problem your having is a bug. Its insane.



I find all the CoD games are over rated and not worth the time put in them. And though herasy given I'm a Zelda fan boy, I just CANNOT stand Majora's Mask.



Oblivion, ehh I don't hate the game persee as much as I hate how unhelpful it can be at times, the crappy looking NPCs and PC's, but I do love open world games. Just not ones like GTA:4 that try and make it in to a my life sim. Give me Saints Row 2 anytime over it.

But the Mako looks just like one of those retro BigTrak toys and is awesome!

I can understand people not liking ME1, but I suspect that such acceptance has no place in this thread so I'll shut up.

Call of Duty. I just cant fathom the sales it gets. I know why it gets them but since I don't play to that "twitch" reaction crowd which the game associates I will never understand its success.



But I do hear the new game you can have balanced matches where everyone has the same weapons and you don't get spawned killed by a predator missile so I may reattempt it eventually.

Halo: Reach – I figured the franchise couldn’t get any worse considering it had remained static for almost ten years and made less changes than the yearly Madden roster update, but then Reach tried its hand at characterization. The whole GTA series... So many people dont even enjoy the story of stuff but are just driving around and shooting random people. I really never understood it.

Grand Theft Auto IV. No anti-aliasing support, frustrating gameplay, and my GTX 570 struggles with maintaining a bit less than 30 frames per second at 1920 x 1080.



World of Warcraft. Some of the same reasons I hate CoD.

EDIT Oh god speaking of WOW most MMO's I just I can't stand, its the people or the griding but it just makes me stop. I don't need to play an MMO as a job or "emotional investment".

LOL I hated the Wind Wand and the whole split realities thing though I'ld Say TP was great.

As to another game I hate...Skate Boarding games, heck ANY sports based games for the most. I mean I hear my nephew and his step dad constatnly bragging about this touch down, or this grind. And then when I go "its a game big F*ing deal" they always just go you just wish you could do it, to which I just go, well lets see you do this crap outside off your butts then. Course thats when eyes roll and the game goes on.

And god people who think they are crap for playing Guitar hero. I mean come on you want to be a rock star, go buy a REAL drum set or Guitar, you pretender.
