In the first round each player on their turn can spend 4 points to heal characters. There is no hurting in the first round. You may not heal yourself. Those 4 points can go all to 1 character, spread out 1 each to 4 characters, or any range inbetween. Each character can only reach a max of 40 points before no more points can be added to them. Phase One will end when 12 characters have reached 40 points.
