sad that this game has so many problems but Bioware plays the blame game and puts all the delayed patch release on Sony's back. This is ultimately YOUR fault Bioware

yup, game is a broken mess. Sick of these POS companies releasing and selling me unfinished virtually unplayable games. I traded in my copy today for KZ3. Tired of waiting for them to release a patch that probably wont solve half the issues.

I haven't taker the plunge with ME2 so I can't comment on it specifically, but in general the whole internet thing seems to be making games progressively worse quality-wise.
There have been games released with patches downloadable the same day!!! You have to be joking!
Why can't the game be made to work? It never seemed to be a problem years ago for a game to be bug and problem free. Why is it such an issue now?? Is it just slackness on the part of developers thinking: "it doesn't matter if it's broken - we'll just put a patch out..." But if you aren't internet connected, you're stuffed...after spending over a hundred bucks on a product you mistakenly assumed to be finished & in good order. It really sucks.
This rant isn't aimed just at Bioware, it's a problem that is so widespread in games it's not funny.
There - I fell much better now I've got that off my chest...

^^^Keep in mind games are a lot more complicated than they were a long time ago (before the age of patches for consoles and what not). This game has so many variables that a bug like this is understandable. It's also predictable and probably shouldn't have been overlooked by Testers and Programmers.
But it did and thanks to the internet, they can get it patched up and as a result, we don't really get disaster cases where a company like Namco releases a certain JRPG for the Wii (doesn't have a patching service) with a similarly gamebreaking save bug but no real way to fix it. Stop being so bitter and wait for the patch.

I have heard that Sony has to approve the patch first before they put it up and if that is the caes then yes IT IS SONYS FAULT for when it comes out!!!!

jep kinda true. Thank you for the patch bot the loading is still long, audio out of sync and the frame rate in DLC missions are BAD. So patch 1.01 just fixed really SMALL things that shouldn't be in "the best ME2 experience" But still ME is a grate game and tnx Bioware and EA for bringing it to ps3. Hope DA2 is bug and glitch free

Did the patch at least solved the Corrupted saves and Freezes problem?

Come on guys, what did you expect from a .01 patch? If it was 1.10, then you expect something of decent size. Although I do believe more developers should take a page from the guys who made Gran Turismo. They pump out huge game changing patches almost once a month.
I still love Bioware though, since they do make incredible games. I just hope they pick up the slack when it comes to the amount of bugs in their game (although slightly understandable given their games scope/size).

@spideyal G5 is published by Sony itself so of course they can bring one patch a month
I know it's 1.1 but those problems shouldn't be there in the first place. The patch itself is really small because of the new included trophies. There is still frame rate problems, Loading is TOO damn long, NG+ isn't fixed; they had one year to fix all the issues and promised us the best ME2 experience. But I love Bioware because they at least hear our problems. I think the guys are now too busy on ME3 so they don't have a lot of time to do big patches.
