While I don't agree with the OP, I can't deny that her voice didn't play any role in the many times I sacrificed Arlessa Isolde. >.>

Why do people keep saying this? Let the man say what he wants to say and counter the arguments made. There is no need for the repeated "OMG U'R MOM MUST BE HORRIBLE" comments, which accomplish nothing.

I didn't really see Eleanor Cousland as that much of a overly loving mother myself, but then again I never really tried to talk to her when I didn't have to. That said, I have nothing against the freedom of killing of Hawke's mother, I just don't think I would use the opportunity too often.

I forget which review I read it in, but it said that we are given the choice of leaving one of our siblings with Leandra, or taking them with us and leaving her alone. Also, in the Pc gamer review found in this thread social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/141/index/6006344 it says that wronged people won't attack you, but your family, so I'm speculating that Leandra will be murdered if you don't leave one of your siblings with her.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Eleanor Cousland(likley voice actor of momma hawke), No character has ever been more cheesy to me. I want the option to feed her to a cougar,  Fuel her blood to merril in order to ressurect my fallen sibling, Or even use her skull as a hat to symbolize adulthood like the pokemon cubone.

Ok maybe all that's going a bit far....But i really don't wanna hear "I LUVZ YA SON, PLEASE BE CAREFUL KILLING DRAGONZ"

Anyone else hate having a mom in a RPG?

Because this topic is highly disturbing and pointless? The OP could have talked solely about the voice actor if that's what he doesn't like. However he keeps saying things like "No grown man tells his mom they love her!" over and over again. That has nothing to do with the voice.

I'm thinking "troll bait", whatever...hope this gets locked soon.

You know Lara Logan was sexually assaulted in Egypt the other day. Whats worse is what some people are saying about it. Example of what some have said "she had it coming because she went to a country full of savage people."

I heard that earlier today and was sure that would be the worst thing I would hear today, but some of the talk in this thread takes the cake.... Let that sink in.

And the OP is trying to give feedback on a part of the game, and is giving his views on a certain character, as well as desiring something in HIS ideal rpg.
