Rogues don't seem to have nearly as many cross-class opprotunities as the other classes.

Not many of their skills disorent and there's not much exploiting of staggering and brittle.

That's not true at all, disorient seems to have much more AoE variant than stagger and brittle, not to mention rogue probably has the most oppourtunities to use cross-class combos out of the three classes. I think I'll do a list of status effect talent currently known later today on this thread.

So can frozen enemies still be shattered? Since being frozen seems distinct from being brittle.

No, I get the impression that frozen just stuns in place, and that brittle is the version that can be shattered (where shattering is the death blow for the brittle combos).  It was always overpowering that those two were combined anyway.  It made the cold spells ridiculously overpowered when you had people who had automatic critical powers (e.g. a duelist with Pinpoint Strike).

Does each ability take 1 point and you get 1 point per level?

Thanks for this! But before I read your whole post, I have to make note of Sandal working in a brothel now. Guess he's the "surprise me" option. And it looks like they got rid of underwear on some models, going instead with pixelation like in The Sims.

Yes, but there may be other means to get skill points via tome or quest.

No, I shopped that awhile back for another thread...

Second Wind seems even more OP this time around with upgrades.

And a S&S warrior ignoring all critical damage as a passive ability is just plain unfair. There better be a drawback to the S&S tank playstyle to balance that out.

the spells suck. They are all more or less the same spells from DAO. I was hoping for some new things not just slightly tweaked iterations of what we already had.

That is false.

The level cap is 50. You get more than 20 points.

Given Peter's claim of heavily investing in 4 chains, and the fact that you need 8 points to get the top tier ability most of the time, I really think we might go as high as 30.

wait....seen as (for instance) both Muscle, Command and Cleave require TWO points in vanguard does it mean that we need to spend one point to simply UNLOCK the tree or are we forced to buy both of the non-requirements skills (control and might) in order to progress any further?

There will probably be more than level-based skill points, similar to how DAO had tomes and whatnot to gain some.

You don't need to spend points to unlock base skill trees, so I'm going to have to assume that you need a point in Control and Might if you want to unlock Muscle.

For Arcane Arcane Shield/Arcane Wall/Elemental Shield im wondering if the Elemental Shield bonus is also applied to the shield Arcane Wall provides on the party members?

Also wondering if it stacks. What i mean by that is if ur main already has Arcane Shield and its activated, and one of ur party members has Arcane Shield/Arcane Wall activated, will the Arcane Shield added to the party by Arcane Wall add extra protection, or just be redundant?
