Does this mean that no Boss (or enemy) are Immune to any attacks? (exept Elemental.)
Specific creatures can be immune to specific things.

Also, I have a question for Peter, can enemy use stagger, disorient, brittle effects on PC and companions? Also, when on nightmare difficulty, will area of effect talents that apply those conditions apply them on friendly targets under friendly fire?

Arcane skill tree is all about defense? That's kinda lame...
I'm planning on heavily investing in it. I like the idea of a defensive/support Mage, and envision the Arcane tree being integral to my survival on Nightmare. Time will tell, of course, whether or not that's a sound idea. Still, I see nothing wrong with entire skill trees devoted to defense, provided the skills are exciting, diverse, and balanced.

FF = Friendly Fire. He meant (I think) that Tempest and Chain Lightning don't target party members, only enemies, and thus are safe 'friendly fire' spells. Friendly Fire, of course meaning you hurting your 'friends' with 'fire' its not really friendly.
Yah that's why I'm wondering if we hit our teammates with a talent that applies status effect (stagger, disorient, etc), are they going to be applied on our teammates as well?

Thats a good question. Also naikita, I believe scythe is 30 stamina to use (not listed in your guide)

Enemy abiltiies don't cause CCC effects, but friendly fire can.
Edit: Hm... actually it's a bit more complex and I'd need to check scripting. Things that have a chance of causing a CCC shouldn't, but ones that always do, should. Off the top of my head I don't know how many fall into the second category and would need to confirm anyway.

Is it like (Base talent damage + base class damage + weapon damage)? or what exactly? considering that weapon damage and base class damage will change every now and then.

So if a warrior casts tremor in order to knock back a horde of enemies, and your party happens to be inside the radius, your own party is knocked back as well?
Edit: Didnt know CCC meant cross class combos. So you are referring to Brittle, Disorient, and Stagger. So Im assuming knockbacks and knockdowns and stuns actually do hit your own teamates in nightmare?

That's normal FF you're talking about, I guess Peter was talking about effects like Brittle, Disorient and Stagger.
Knockback, Knockdown and so on should be applied normally.

Im still torn between my first playthrough. Usually i go mages ESPECIALLY coz the primal school is so awesome and shaman/druid like and i love earth and lightning spells.
However i like Reavers and the sword and shield looks sweet in da2. Really impressed.

abilities' damage change depending on attribute values?
"Ability damage is based on a characters base damage, which is based on their weapon damage + primary attribute bonuses."
