I'm pretty sure it's stat dependent, this is all base on characters between level 1~3. I've seen someone else playing where he was running around Kirkwell around level 5, his skill damage numbers were much higher. I think we need a guide or access to the script if we want to figure out the formula for calculating skill damage.

Ooo, thank you for posting these.
I have to say, I think Battlemaster sounds really cool. It sounds like you're really going to be working as a team. Now I just have to decide if my first play through is going to be a dw or an archer....

It has been indicated that the skills based on weapon attacks scale with the weapon. The tooltip, however, will show actual damage rather than the calculation to derive it. I'd personally rather have both, to have a grasp on how the skill scales.0rz0 wrote...
Looks like all of the skills are static and not stat dependent, I wonder how that will work out. I think it's a good idea, now there's no "need" to put all points into one stat (even dips into stats can provide nice bonuses as shown in the demo video) and the player power can be managed more clearly, leading perhaps to a more balanced difficulty?

I'm not going to do anything more than browse through these because I'd rather it feel fresh for as long as possible, but these trees look very, very cool. Thanks for posting this.

As other people said, when a skill requires two other skill, it means that we have to unlock both skill or only one? I think it's the former, but I'm not sure.

The leveling system is interesting in-game. I have to admit that scrolling through the abilities to level up was a bit tiresome

"Pretty pictures", I said staring at the info.
The images float out of my monitor forming a halo around my head.

Thank you for the effort you're putting into this, Naitaka. It's very much appreciated!
Both the Warrior and Rogue skill trees look very interesting. I'll have to play through this game at LEAST four times, but I know it's going to end up way more than that.

I'm interested to not that the rogues can now manage threat, as well as the warriors. Bit of a different method, mind you... no "come and get me" more "He's the one you want". I think I need to plan my tank... something tells me my rogue!Hawke will be dumping lots of enemies on the tank, so they can get curly fried by the mage. *glee*

I believe it is because attacks from the back do more damage.0rz0 wrote...
Are shield wall and Shield defense right? As it looks now if you have both you receive 25% less dmg from front and 50% less dmg from the back?
And by the talents I am assuming the enemies are much stronger.
Say, if a normal flanking attack gives the attacker a 25% damage bonus, the 50% damage reduction bonus will give you a net damage reduction of 25%, so the shield warrior gets the same amount of damage reduction from all sides.

The Rogues are super tricky this time around. Thats really cool. And the S&S Warrior looks like he'll really be able to take a beating, whether its from bandits, Mages, or ogres. Really cool. I can't wait to see what cool abilities Mage has.
Also its kind of crazy how Warriors can be immune to critical hits.

Interesting changes to the archery web. It seems focused on brute force now. I like it. Also much thanks to the OP post. I cannot wait to see the mage stuff!

Looks like we'll be able to create much, much more rewarding builds this time around.

Jack Black on a pogo stick, it would appear DAII has achieved something I did not think was possible to achieve: it has made me interested in defensive-oriented gameplay.
Before, I didn't know whether to roll a mage or a rogue first; now even the warrior has me excited. The demo cannot come soon enough.

Warrior seems alot less dull this time around. Not that I diddnt like it in Origins, but it actually seems like theres some really cool strategic possibilities to be had as a warrior.

Hell YES! I was almost pensive about choosing to play Warrior. All concerns have been replaced by anticipation!
