Ah. I thought it was arithmetical addition (50+50 = 100) and then applied.. and not 50 + 50/2.

Oh well.

But Paralyzing Prison makes a good attack spell. 87 physical damage over 10 seconds, with a chance of paralysis is nothing to sneeze at.

Hmyeah, I'd rather take petrify for that, 15 second paralysis on any mob (so.. bosses too?) is much much more useful, imo.

Also, this doesn't include character specific trees. Doesn't each character get their own unique tree like Isabella's Swashbuckler? Has it been confirmed Hawke gets his own unique tree for the three classes too? IMO, would seem kinda weird everyone but the champion gets his own unique tree.

Hawke gets specializations.

Yes but doesn't the other characters too? Or do they only get their unique tree and no choice of specialization?

They only get their unique tree.

Ahh, we get two hexes for entropy. I like it. But I'll miss life drain. I especially like entropic/death cloud. Wowza.

Im terrifyingly excited for all of this but, for some reason, I can't help but be just a little 'extra' happy about Elemental Weapon. And I feel a tad stupid for that. But seriously now, one easy sustained, one pointer talent that does bonus dmg based off what 'staff' your using? **** YEAH. I hated the 2 versions and all that, the idea you can basically change your element type by swapping staffs... I wonder if its like DAO where you can have the staff on, activate, then swap to your preferred staff. Would make keeping a few basic elemental types around for certain stuff worthwild. Would still be if it auto-adjusts but still. I is happy.

Well even if your resistant to spirit damage, spirit damage lowers resistance by  half. So yeah..

I'm liking the look of these spell trees! And crushing prison is back, I approve. I don't see a mana clash option this time.

The entropy tree looks good too.

Indeed. Thank you Naitaka for taking the time to post all this information. :)

The creation tree is about what I expected. Straightforward healing and buffing. This will probably be the one tree I max out. It looks like they got rid of glyph of defense and beefed up heroic aura. Haste being a temporary spell is interesting. Even more interesting is healing no longer giving a straight boost to HP. Unless we can stack regeneration as in Origins, healing is not going to be as near invincibility as it used to...

You're welcomed guys. Now if someone would help put the information on the Dragon Age Wiki then it'll be perfect.

Seagloom thats been replaced with a more useful form, the Dispell and its upgrade. It doesn't actually effect friendlies in a negative way. Harms enemies, removes harmful stuff on friends.
