General whining:

I find it somewhat annoying that nobody, not to mention hundreds of baldurians, isn't like:

"What! You have Baldur's artifacts. MUST have the whole set! Sell it for exorbitant amount of gold. OR You must donate! "

Not that you can't  get ridicilous amounts of gold in your ventures, but for the feel of it, it would be nice.

P.S. I think they are just (Baldur's Logbook and Butter knife) plotwise necessary item and a joke, right?

Though Sorcerous Sundries in BG buys them for 5000 and 500 gp respectively.
