Heya all !

So, it's another sleepless night for me.. and my restless mind couldn't stop thinkin' about DA2 and what my team line-up will consist of on my first play-thru.
So, I thought up a lil' game for myself.
on this thread I'm gonna combine the illustrations that I did so far of my favorite up-coming DA2 characters and
post them up as a WIP ( Work In Progress ) group set up  and share them with y'all.

: 4 man team I plan to use in my play thrus  :


So I'm starting with my "Rogue" Hawke and Varric.


I'm hoping I add one character a night with a lil' time for editing and ponderin'... if all goes well I can have my group dynamic done before Midnight of the DEMO release !
perhaps after that I'll expand the canvas and just line up the entire cast of characters maybe even a few darkspawn to flavor up the pic ?

lemme know your thoughts... and do share your own ideas for your ultimate group set up.

disclaimer : We all know we don't know much yet about our companions & the game in general.. but I'm tryin to be imaginative and creative with my time as I await Dragon Age 2...

P.S. I intentionally gave it asian style lettering for the DA title.. cause my artwork is starting to look like a Dragon Age "ode to Cowboy Bebop anime..  "  hehe !

Hmmnn.. you mean like in the group screen pose in DA:O ? the morrigan pose when you select her and she fires up flames on both her hands ?

The stone armor thing I probably have to pause at a gameplay vid so I can get a good idea of how it looks.. I barely saw it on the live_chat thing the other day.. but that's a very good idea !

I am not much of a fan of the writing in the background, but I LOVE your artwork.

I think you should add Isabela to the team

You've gotta have Aveline as a hulking tank for your team. Maybe have Anders playing around with some magic in the background. I would like to see Isabela as well. but 4 is the max

for sure yes ! I'll even set up a larger resolution one.. as I save my PSD files at 300dpi which is great for print images.

Yep I know 4 is max team for the gameplay.
so I'll keep toiling away at the drawings to meet my self imposed deadline and we shall see !
if I finish the first team like I said by midnight of the DEMO release.. I'll shoot for the entire cast + darkspawn
( may even include BARKSPAWN !!!! ) by the March 8th .

Hmmn.. I love how FemHawke looks as well.. mayhaps I draw her as a separate group with BOTH siblings by her side.. since we know we can't have both siblings forevah in the game.

Good Morning all !

Ok I'm back with an updated pic for my DA2 line-Up. 

I'vew been busy with my other job , but I anticipated that so I seem do be doing ok with making my drawings for my line-up as long as I don't overly spend too much time tryin to create fully finished works.. lol !

here's the new pic now with AVELINE added ! 


gonna see if I can get bethany hawke done tomorrow.. or just for the flavor.. do merril as the mage for the group !

note : ( I made Varric's crossbow Bianca alil' larger as well as tryin a diffrent font for the background title..any thoughts ? )

Nah, this font isn't cutting it at all, the old one was better for your drawing style.

Thought I was reading Japanese when I first saw the pic with Hawke and Varric. First two actually resembling Japanese katakana.

Gorgeous! I love your style and your characters and poses are so expressive! Aveline looks adorable (I never thought I'd say that), and I can't wait to see how you interpret the rest of the crew.

Ya I try not to pass the "cute" border too much even if my artwork tends to lean  towards cartoony
but I like when they are aesthetically pleasing.. =)

Nice. Love the anime-style art take. Possibly Aveline shouldn't be quite so...petite, but that's just nitpicking really.
