Wikipedia can describe the OP much better than I can.
Anal Retentive
The term anal retentive (also anally retentive), commonly abbreviated to anal, is used conversationally to describe a person who pays such attention to detail that the obsession becomes an annoyance to others, and can be carried out to the detriment of the anal-retentive person. The term derives from Freudian psychoanalysis.
Smile Purple Eater, you’re on Wikipedia.
Butt Face
This term is used to describe a person who has a butt for a face.

Trolling would of been posting a pic of The Witcher 2 just for the lul.

I found odd that you have Warhammer registered on your BioWare Social Network account, but you didn't register DA:O, when you actually have to log in to access the DLCs, therefore making it even more likely that someone will register both the game and the DLCs.What the heck happened? DA:O was one of my favorite games.
So I have to guess that you pirated the game and you still create a thread to complain about something that was improved from the previous game.
Of course, my assumption might not be accurate and you can prove me wrong by registering your game or by turning on the option to check your profile, so we can see that you actually updated your characters to BSN.
Feel free to send me a private message in case you do any of these things. Until then, I'm gonna just assume that you are a hater.

I can see parody isn’t your biggest strength, so I leave you with this thought: if you find yourself relying on Wikipedia to come up with your insults, then perhaps you should keep your Cheeto-stained fingers off the keyboard and go back to watching dancing preteens on Youtube.

Did the size of the swords in DAO bother you? If not why not?
I don't know if I'm stating it right here, but... ignorance is bliss??
Either way, I only noticed it when I found a mod that changed the size of swords and shields and the like.
It won't bother me in DA2 anyway. I'll probably be more busy gazing at the surroundings and areas than looking at my character's outfit and the like.
...And I'll admit: you have a point.

Other than that, I don't care much for the graphics. I care more about the story and the gameplay anyway.
Bioware has worked hard to provide a new art style and graphics. Please at least try to appreciate that.
It makes me chuckle when people say they don't care for graphics. That's just stupid. Its a visual game, of course the graphics are important!
Is this a serious reply?

Hey, I went to Wiki for the benefit of people who might not have known what anal retentive meant ok. It was done to give the term perspective in relation to the OP. Now leave me alone so I can go back to watching my dancing preteens on youtube, and you can go back to being a ****** with no sense of humor.

Or like this:

Good graphics adds hugely to atmosphere and immersion. Bad graphics detract from atmosphere and immersion and remind you that its just a video game.

Couple of your points are just ignorant and poorly formed opinion.
"Bland backgrounds. No vistas or interesting skyboxes" cause there aren't any there? Looks fine to me, seems a lot like a badlands type of thing. Hilt as long as arm? Look at King Cailin's sword and tell me it isn't the same.
Get over it. The graphics are superior to DA:O. This has been done to death. Nobody cares. Move on.
Yet... you cared enough to post, completely invalidating your own point. Good job.

Yeah, Origins had great true to life graphics and stunning effects.
That post is essentially an thread ender, specifically because the OP is pining for DA:O graphics and not the graphics of other RPGs (though the Morrowind screenshot was bleh too). Anyone pining for DA:O graphics (as opposed to gameplay) is crazy.

And about the brown thing. I live in the North of England. Most days here look like they've been put through a grey rain filter. Brown makes a nice change.

Some of us prefer a deeper more engaging experience to forget about the real world. A casual gamer like yourself wouldn't understand.

While I am also not so keen on the graphics, I do not mind this screenshot. Technically it's on par/better than Origins. The art style, however, is a different matter.
Those skeletons do suck, though, but they had the exact same ones in Origins. Why they didn't just use the skeleton enemy model as a base, I have no idea. Those things looked good.

Not everyone needs great graphics for that. For me it's all about the story and characters. This is why I spend hours on hours re-playing Baldur's Gate.

Ohhhhh no. Can we not get into the 'casual gamer like you' versus ''REAL gamer like moi', debate again please? Please, please? It's on the outskirts of Lockdown City. Though to be fair, I think that's where this thread might be heading anyway
