Is there a way to give a placeable (specifically a web), damage resistance vs piercing weapons.
There does not seem to be a place in the properties. I wonder if I am missing something.
Or do I need to create a script for the on damage slot.

I thought hardness was bugged. The message will say that the placeable absorbed 5 points of damage but the full amount of damage is applied to the placeable.

I will check that thanks. I assumed this was a general damage resistance rather than a specific damage restance vs Piercing.

Double posted there
Bugged or not I'm wondering if I can give the web resistance vs piercing damage. I looked at hardness and it is a general resistance so it's to generic for my purposes.
The webs are destructable but I want to prevent it being done with arrows (or easily with arrows at least).

Try reading this thread. I posted a tree chopping script that you should be able to modify for your purpose.

Thanks KS, I remember that thread but did not make the mental leap from trees to webs.
I will scuttle off and have a look.

And fire, add susceptibility to fire and you'll have a winner.
