I don't exactly know if it has to do with DLC or what, but lately the game is freezing, random colors start appearing on the monitor, and after I ALT+Tab, it works perfectly for a few seconds. I bought this game from Steam, and both me and my brother have played through the entire game and none of this happened, and after I finished it I downloaded the free DLCs, but I still got to play them normally for a week I think. After a few days I stopped playing my brother started complaining about these bugs, and now I'm playing it again it's really annoying, I can't even play it. Please help.

1) Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help.

2) Please post your specs as per this thread: http://social.biowar...6/index/4795299

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you have recently upgraded your graphics drivers for your GPU, even though you havent listed them. If you have upgraded then to the latest version (266.xx), then try rolling them back to the 258.xx revision. nVidia rarely gets it right with their new drivers, making tweaks to work with newer games, but screwing up older games like ME2 something chronic.

Also, download DX9.0c from microsoft's website and install it. It -should- have been installed as part of the game installation, but Steam doesnt always do what it should. DX10 is not backwards compatible enough to work with ME2.

 I'll try that, thanks.
