Yep thankfully you can play as both male and female hawke

Personally I want it for my own selfish reason of myself playing it. It may be exactly the same as all the videos and comments, and gameplay may be short. Honestly I could care less. I just want to be the one experiencing it rather then hearing/seeing someone else experiencing it.



I love demos, even demos I have already seen from start to finish. Bring on the demo

don't download old build DA2 german  demo because it have a lot of minor bugs and some random loading time...
playied about 10 minutes and i tell ya: wait for official demo, it's not worth it!!!

Well, it's usually common practice to take a devs "rough estimate" and half it for a more accurate estimate. I figured the demo would be around 30 to 40 minutes, including cutscenes.

I'm not certain if the demo we'll be getting will look different from the leaked version, or if either demo will look different than the final product, but that really isn't my main concern. I just need the system requirements to be the same and for the demo to play like the final version. Graphics are really the least of my worries for this demo.

Im interesting if I can see demo areas/objects in DAO toolset it means that DA2 will be moddable via old toolset? I.e custom morph heads/armor/weapon?

I doubt Gamestar would have received an old build for their "exclusive DVD content". More likely the same bugs will be in the English demo.

Play times always very, similar to when DAO got asked how long the origins were. I mean the first time I did a origin it was long, because I spent lots of time just exploring, reading codex entries, item descriptions, talking to EVERYONE all the time. Second or third time through? Usually took far less.

I somehow doubt that since they will want you to try out each of the classes.

in DA2 you can play both female and male hawke. All 3 classes are available and you can play as many times as you wish!!!

No if you go to the frist page the demo is only on PC XBOX and PS3

Yes, though on bright side it does seem you can change weapons at certain points (in one demo they show hawke clicking on a pile of loot and asking him if he wants to change to sword and shield style.

Hmm, so the PC version of the Demo gets released at 9am PST. Since I'm in the EST of North America that means...3 hour difference. Yay! I can download the demo when I stop home on my lunch-break.

 Warrior Hawke can change his/her double handed sword for a sword and shield.
 Rogue Hawke can  change his/her daggers for a bow.
 Mage Hawke can't do that.
