I'm looking forward to this demo a lot myself. The game looks absolutely awesome. Seeing Hawke as a rogue with those knives got me giddy ^^ I'm sure though after playing the demo it's going to be even harder to wait until March 11th. I'll probably be playing the demo over and over till I get the box in my grubby little paws

camera is hard use on pc. ps3 easyer camera.
English make more sens:police:
mage harder game. warriors easyest. roug is most fun..

I don't know for positive but I reckon it will be out on Wednesday 23rd, I live in New Zealand and coz of the time difference it would make sense for it to come out a day later.

I am glad I told my friends to keep an eye out for the demo for sometime on Wednesday (we really get things a day late down here in NZ ).

I have different opinion. Camera ( PC version) works very good for me, also for me gameplay with mage Hawke was easiest. Maybe is that becouse I really disliked  PoP-like fighting style.

What time will the demo be available?

• For PC – February 22 at 9am PST
• For Xbox 360 – February 22 between midnight and 2am PST
• For Playstation 3 users in North America – February 22 between 4pm and 8pm PST
• For Playstation 3 users outside North America -  February 23 between 4pm and 8pm GMT

 

Dumb question, but I just want to be sure.  If it says between midnight and 2am, does that mean it will be uploaded around that time and then be available up until March 8th?  Or is it a time window during which the demo will only be available during that time?

I'm guessing it's the former, but I just want to be completely sure.  I'd hate to miss the demo due to misreading this

I asked this earlier, the response I got said that it will show up in that timeframe, for example, it may show up at 12:05 for some people, but maybe 1:32 for others.

It's very probably just the time when its up for download.

You must have misread, the demo will be avaliable until March 1st. (? I THINK. But I know it's more than a day, obviously.)

*sigh* I was just thinking how awesome it was that the demo was going to be coming out tomorrow. Then I compensated for the time difference and it won't be out until 4am Feb 23rd for us AEST peeps. *facepalm*

Sorry for the confusion.

There is currently no planned date for the demo removal - you will be able to d/l and play even after DA2 is released.

The 1M goal however needs to be reached by 1 Mar, for us to unlock those associated reward items.

Hope that helps clarify.

No Mac demo, sorry.

The demo itself had to be locked and split away from the main game a while back- before we had a solid mac version we were happy enough with to show. Not ideal, i wish we could have, but the alternative was to delay the mac game release itself. We felt it was more important to the mac community to deliver the main game on same day as the other platforms.

If the XBox Live silver peeps start their download on the first when it becomes available, are those downloads going to count? Or will silver people be tragically neglected? I'm a PC, so it doesn't change anything for me, but I AM curious about he relationship between the 3/1 deadline and the demo not being available at all to silver subscribers until that date. Who thought hat made sense? =P

Noooo the xbox360 silver thing sucks! I guess I'll just try to download the PC demo on my crappy old laptop and hope I can at least limp through it until I can get it on Xbox.

My guess would be yes. The demo should have the same system requirements as the retail game... the only difference is that DX11 is disabled in the demo.

Yeah I have DX10, but I have no problem playing the game on medium. I just would like to play the game on PC rather than console. For this game, at least.
I'm really hoping a dev can confirm my fear or something. Cause I don't wanna pay 60 and then my computer crash D: Well...I don't think it would crash? Should I put the files on a flashdrive?
