There is -a lot- of dialogue in the demo, probably more talking than fighting. If you skip through the dialogue, it's a 15-20 minute demo, otherwise you can easily reach 40.

Re the free items, do we have to complete the demo to get them, or is it enough just to download and run it? This relates to the two items we get if downloads reach one million, as well as the other one that doesn't need to meet the One Million condition.



I'd like to support Bioware and I'd also like to play the demo, but I'm a bit worried it might spoil the experience of playing the full version for the first time. Playing for an hour's worth of the game and then replaying it in the full version soon after . . . I dunno, haven't decided. But I'll finish the demo if that's what it takes to get the items.

 As a person who played German Demo, I can assure You that there's any unknow heavy spoiler in this demo, so don't worry. The only spoiler there is, who will die during proloque, and while we all knows that, there's nothing to worry.

I've decided to skip all the dialogue/custscenes in the demo to keep my "real" playthrough as fresh as possible (or at least as fresh as it can be if one plays the demo).

And to preemt the usual: yes that is a lot smaller dan DA:O's 20 gig install. No that does not mean the game will suck. Why is it so much smaller? Better compression techniques, optimized datastructures and less VO languages.

Looks like I will be able to download it at work and put it on a flash drive to take home. 2GB is hell of a download and it looks like it will be up early enough for to get it even with my lower bandwidth. Looking forward to it.

So, if I were to play the demo on the Xbox, but then the actual game I get the PC version, will I have all the items unlocked for all versions of the game (the razor and the books I mean, I realize the actual preorder DLC will be platform specific)?

The staff of parthalan and hindsight unlocked on all three platforms for me.

Blizzard is a huge company and their products support Stereoscopic 3D.

Bioware is a huge company yet none of their products are optmized for 3D.

PLEASE, it's 2011. Can you make sure Dragon Age II is NVIDIA 3D Vision ready? Thank you.
