They've given the demo to the Microsoft/Sony people and they'll upload it themselves. BioWare has to upload and release the PC version themselves and I'm guessing they don't want to come to work at midnight to do it.

Pretty much everytime something major happens the servers end up going, and this is the technical term mind you, KABLOOEY!  They'd be stupid to release it at midnight when no one is there to fix the inevitable issues, as much as I wish they would.

YLOD and now I gotta pay $ 300 dollars to get a new one. Thankfully I can just try out the PC demo and THEN Get the DLC...will it work on all consoles? The code I mean.

Uh...no.  There are currently no plans to discontinue the demo at any time

There is currently no planned date for the demo removal - you will be able to d/l and play even after DA2 is released.

The 1M goal however needs to be reached by 1 Mar, for us to unlock those associated reward items.
