Gah. I thought I was finally going to get a good sleep tonight for the first time in 3 years. Then the demo happens! Ah, what do I care? I can delay sleep for Dragon Age awesomeness! Besides, I'll probably justs tay up and play the three classes till dawn, then go shovel. It'll suck, but Dragon Age is worth it, for sure.

Is it 9am pst yet? :/

From what I gathered, 9am pst = 1 pm over here.

Yet, its nearly 2pm, and its either not out or im looking in the wrong place.

Yes, I'm impatient but months of waiting for DA2 has done this to me LOL

Hehe, I love how so many of us are waiting with bated breath to play the demo :)

If it wasn't for the extra items, I may not have even tempted myself to
play it. For two reason, the first being that for something like Dragon
Age, I don't want to get spoiled. And secondly I actually just spent 4
days (not in a row) finishing up Origins and Awakening (and the DLC). I
put Origins down for almost a year. Even buying Awakening didn't get me
to play. But remembering I had about 3 weeks to finish Origins (plus
Awakening and all the DLC) I was lucky enough to get two days in a row
off of work twice in less than a week. The first two days I was up for
32 hours and still didn't finish Origins. When I did, I was relieved
because I could finally pop in Awakening and was able to finish it this
morning.

I thought I was done with Dragon Age for at least 2
weeks. But nope. Luckily I have the entire day today to play through the
demo. ^_^ Now I have an actual reason to continue putting off every other game I need to beat.

Ahhh... now to just continue waiting..

I admire your dilligence :)

I have a similar situation, but perhaps its more dire. Since about two weeks ago, I purchased all the DLC for Dragon Age Origins. With the exception of Return to Ostagar and The Stone Prisoner, I have yet to play ANY of the DLC at all, and of course it's been nearly a year since I've played DAO, so I will of course want to begin with a new 'canon' campaign, meaning that I will play through:
  • DA:O  Main Campaign
  • The Stone Prisoner
  • Wardens' Keep
  • Return to Ostagar
  • The Darkspawn Chronicles
  • Leliana's Song
  • DA: Awakenings
  • Golems of Amgarrak
  • Witch Hunt
I've planned my work schedule so that I will have two sets of 3 days off, followed by a four day weekend, all of that time will be used for this mad race through the Dragon Age Universe

I have work tommorow and my speed isn't as godly to download 2GB in a few minutes so I'll retire and leave it downloading before I head to work.

My resolve is weakening. Playing Alan Wake, but running around in the dark woods is making me tired IRL. I need to start mainlining the Red Bull or something!

Aha. Yes much more dire.

Though you should play Leliana's Song first, so you can get the Battledress of the Provocateur. Very helpful item. Though I played Leliana's Song too far into the main game that it wasn't of much help except for in Awakening. There's also the Blightblood Sword in the Darkspawn Chronicles. Though I guess maybe doing TDC afterwards would be a better choice. By the time I played it I already knew the ending.

I do have to go back and replay Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles and Golems for the achievements I missed. And eventually have to go through the game at least once more to get the other achievements I'm missing. But that'll be for a rainy day.

Thankfully, I've narrowed down the achievements I need to five. Unfortunately, they are all of the achievements I do not look forward to getting.

I played awakening recently if only because I felt I was missing out by not having it. And also to help my save import for DAII

As for the rest of the DLC, I already have Return to Ostagar and Wardens Keep (both bought for the armor). I have no interest in anything else really.

Of course good sir, that is why nearly all of us are registered to this website :) That, and priceless moments with BioWare staff such as Mr. Weekes

Sadly, even if there was someplace nearby that was open this late, another side effect of playing Alan Wake is that now I'm afraid crazy shadow people with chainsaws are waiting for me out in the dark.  :crying:

Playing Witch Hunt. It's the final save I need for my main to transfer into DA2. Yay completion! :wizard:

Don't you hate that? When I was little I watched Jaws..and despite the fact we lived three hours drive from the nearest body of water..I was terrifed to jump off my bed lest a shark was waiting for me...

..I was 23 at the time...

I SHOULD be moving along with my Female City Elf Rogue, but unfortunately, the will to move on has left me at this hour.

Aww, that is unfortunate. Perhaps adrenaline from fear will outweigh the weariness then?

Hey, how are things in NZ?  I was just reading online that there was another earthquake a few hours ago.
