yeah i deff think im gonna go into gamestop tomorrow, trade in my original copy, and pick up the new edition, then start a new file over as either a city elf rogue or human noble rogue, and play the entire story over with all the DLC, then take on the extra DLC outside of the campaign to compeltely experience everything, hopefully i will have time to beat ALL of this stuff before DA 2 comes out haha :-Pmakenzieshepard wrote...

so i just looked up the ultimate edition at gamestop and its selling for 49.99 new and 44.99 used, it seems to include all of the DLC in the game except for witch hunt, but i can spend the extra 5$ for that one >.< so does everyone agree that i should trade in original copy and get that edition to fully experience everything in the game before DA 2 comes out? i also see that in that edition that awakening comes on a seperate disc? meaning every time i wanna switch between them i have to pop in a different game basically?
I would recommened it if you truly enjoyed DAO and want more to play. You have to go in with realistic expectations about the DLC and you'll be a lot happier with what you get. Personally I loved Awakenings but it's way shorter compared to DAO and you don't get to know your companions as much because of it. I also immensely enjoyed Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt. The other's were so-so. But in the end I want all my wardens choices to carry forward.
Bottom line I say yes, but you know yourself best. You can find it for $40 brand new and shipped to you on ebay FYI if it's an option for you.

He means that once Awakening is installed, you only need the Awakening disc to play orgins or awakening. No need to swap or go back to origin discs. Both origins and awakening will play on the Awakening disc. Very convenient. I kept my Awakening DVD in for a long time and packed away my origins DVD.puma8967 wrote...
so basically u just pop in the awakening disc 1 time to install everything and after that you just play the regular game with the original disc? or other way around?Icinix wrote...
puma8967 - Yes. You should. Totally worth it. And you just use the Awakening disc after that is installed. Even for new plays in Origins.

Two weeks my good man, it can be done! That being said I'm glad I was on PC when I lost my saves and had to recreate two playthroughs. Running around and typing runscript killallhostiles sure speeds things up!

Yup, I got my popcorn ready, this thread is shortly going to get interesting with antsy folk when the download does not start exactly at midnightMongerty2 wrote...
MS almost never gets stuff out at Midnight. They will probably start rolling it out around 12:30 at the earliest.

No character creation screen? Way to make the demo appealing.
Yeah, but then again that would add extra weight to an already heavy download. Why bother investing that kind of time into creation when it is a 45 minute demo?
ME2 demo let you create your Shepard. I found no problem with it. That's half the fun afterall.
