Its just a demo if it was the full game sure there would be an issue but its a demo and not even a demo with all the laguages but the german version.

How long have you guys had your xboxes exactly? Silver users waiting a week has been the standard operating proceedure for demos and other things for nearly 2 years if more than that! I can certainly relate to not wanting to spend money for Live Gold though.

Also, fairly sure 48 hour trials of gold are no longer allowed to download demos and gold-only promotions. It has to be an actual month of live or nothing. I may be wrong about this but, just a heads up.

EDIT: Oh, I should mention that a way to get around the Silver limitation is to find someone who has downloaded the DA2 Xbox demo to their computer and uploaded it online, which you can then burn to a DVD and play on an unmodified console.

Really its not that obvious? Microsft has gold memberships, one of their perks for that membership is getting stuff earlier than the silver users.

im downloading this for both PC and xbox360, but having gold for live just sucks i have a 48hr gold membership code so i hope i can use it to d/l the demo for the 360, theres no way im going out and getting a months worth of gold membership just to try the demo....damn microsoft
