Reaching this forum and the download page was tough, but the download itself actually sped along quickly enough through the first 20%. If it had kept up those 3 MB/s it would have been a ten minute download - shame it has slowed to around 500 kB/s now, and still declining .

It won't download with via torrent because this isn't a torrent download site. If you want a torrent, you'll need to wait for it to be uploaded to a torrent site.  It's basic "Using the Internet" knowledge.
