Will the doors lead somewhere in DA2?

Something that always really frustrated me about DAO was that I'd walk up to a door but it would never lead anywhere for the whole game. Even if there is only a chest with a pair of boots or something in it, I'd rather have that than just an unopenable door. lol or here is an idea...no door at all.

So I wonder if this irked anyone else or if I'm a lone "pointless-door hater"?

Secondly, does anyone know if this is changed in DA2?

You want to go into a city and either:

1) be able to go into every single building

or

B) have the buildings be mysteriously entryless

I'm pretty sure it's the same.

you do realize having every door open into a room would have used tremendous amount of memory

I doubt all the doors will open in DA2. It's not an Elder Scrolls type game.

What? Do all the doors in every single game you've played actually lead somewhere? You mean I can actually enter every single building in GTA!?

I romance those doors. Image IPB

The only ones I'm bothered about opening are the ones in Hawke's house. Why would those be off limits?

Does anyone remember the city of Baldur's Gate in the first Baldur's Gate game? There were so many buildings to enter it made my head spin. That was a little overwhelming, but great fun.

As for DA2, I'd rather have a few openable doors that lead to something interesting than a whole lot of doors that lead to nothing in particular.

Speaking of Hawke's house, I do hope we can enter every door.

Any building with doors we can't open, we should be able to break in through a window.

Unopenable doors are space expansion it's use to give the player the impression that the world is bigger.

Then the door doesn't open and we realize our conceptions of the world are wrong. EVERYTHING WE KNOW IS A LIE!

I can stand if doors don't open as long as there's something about them, perhaps they are used in something like the Blood Mage's Relatives quest from the Mage's Collective. Is that so bad?

Oh! Here's a thought, have a door that works like the Forest Barrier! You go through the door to find yourself running outside! XD

The Path is what matters, not the doors you have to step through!
