 I just bought Ultimate edition, and all the info I find regarding this is really old...Are they abandoning fixing this? Or have we found a workaround for the 360?

They are pretty much abandoning fixing it, they are all focused on DA2 now. The only workaround is to delete Wardens Keep, and then they will look right.

Yeah, it sucks that this will never be fixed, I can get the armor to show up by changing my race, but I've never seen the sword... I don't have the fastest connection so deleting and then redownloading warden's keep at a later date would just take too dam long. Honestly, I think all support for this game was done a long time ago, for xbox we got the one real patch which was 1.04 that fixed some of the major issues at least, but after that it was a quick fix for witch hunt then every resource to DA2/ME3 most likely.

Sadly the lack of support this game got has made me decide not to preorder, or even buy DA2 until it's been out for at least a few months and I have rented it to check the buginess. I'm not about to buy a game where I have to wait 10 months for a real patch, and I know a lot of people feel the same, it's sad because I've always loved Bioware's games, but not worth the frustration.

This seems like a really bad cosmetic bug. I was playing the game last night finally unlocking the Vigilance sword and i was like "why does it look like starfang?" Then i heard you have to delete wardens keep dlc just for the cosmetic change so i say screw that. Im not replaying the same game with all that dlc over again. granted the game is awesome and fun as hell but why bioware. it should be a simple patch that changes the look of the armor and sword. its like a dlc armor or weapons for pre orders
