just got my 3 lithographs for the first time and I wanted to frame them using are UV protection, but I don't know the price range. Are they expensive or are they the same as regular frames

The frames I got mine done in are UV resistant, and the glass alone ran about $140/frame. So, regardless of what constitutes a 'regular' frame, it's expensive.

Damn $140 for a single frame, that sucks I was hoping it would be that much since I need three frames and more later on

Wait for a coupon, sale or discount for where-ever you are going.  Truthfully, they can charge much less for the materials and the framing, but they make so much money doing it and there is very little competition so they don't.

Make them yourself, that's what I'm doing. UV resistant high grade acrylic plexiglass + artcare backing into a borderless frame, which was how I wanted my lithos in the first place. Ok, it's weird, but that's how I want to frame them. Front and back is just as high quality as the archival frames from hollywoodposterframes, when choosing the normal plexiglass option, not the upgraded. Still, that's very high quality. Total cost, about £12 per frame including clips and delivery and everything. Dunno how much it would be to make border frames yourself, but I would guess a border would unfortunately be more expensive to make yourself than buy ready made, that seems to be the one part of the frame that most people sell fairly cheap. However, if you want ones with UV resistant plexiglass and high quality backing, my guess is that it would still be cheaper to make them yourself. If that's not an option, and you live in america, which I don't, try the hollywoodposterframes.com site, a lot of litho collecting forum members use it and I've got some very good advice off it. I would also suggest looking at the framing those lithos thread if you haven't already.
