I think you are correct. Just compare da2 with other RPGs like fallout 3, fable 3, the witcher 2 and even biowares own me2, you'll clearly see that the graphics of da2 is far inferior than these games.

You don't have to compare it to Crysis to see the difference.

Once again, the exact same size as Origins weapons. And of accurate length to real life, too! Just with a longer hilt and wider blade.

/agree  Weapons are actually that large.  Do you want us to fight with forks?  This is an age when people could pick up a 30 pound weapon and swing it to kill.

Im not mad dude, the game just looks pretty bad.. the demo on youtube = slash slash slash slash slash slash *yawn*.. i was just hoping for something better, bioware has made some awesome games, they dropped the ball on this though

what where you hoping was in the demo on youtube? 3 minutes of a conversation wheel?

Fable 3? You're joking right? Fable 3 actually did look "cartoony." Don't get me wrong, I love Fable, but seriously?

I know it will sound like I'm trolling but I'm really not. Its just  that
I'm pretty dissapointed with just jase and the direction his posts are
going in. The new topic-direction is all whiny and anime inspired..
over-the-top reactions, vocab ridiculously amusing yet having no actual
impact on whatever he's saying. Urgh.

To be fair,Bioware has brought some of the heat on themselves.Remember the "super hot graphics" comment that is nowhere close to being true?

No matter what kind of reception the game does get,no way can Bioware pat themselves in the back for a job being properly done when they at least failed one objective.

So, the graphics - the visual aspect of a game - should be ignored, and only the story counted?

That would work for a book . . but not something that is a visual media.

 I think the thing with the graphics is, is that they don't look horrible; they just don't look as fancy as a lot of video games. I believe this is what people try to say and get annoyed when people complain about them as they're still decent graphics. I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say. (Yes I know they're opinions, not facts.)

He didn't tell you to disregard graphics, just that the story, which is the most important part of an RPG, should far overshadow the graphics.

Also, with the hack and slash thing, all they did was make it faster. Tactics are still there as well as cool-downs on talents/spells. To me, speeding something up to make it smoother isn't hack and slash. When I watched those demo videos normal melee attacks didn't really cause a substantial amount of damage anyway. Even if I'm arguing with a troll, oh well.

Edit: Guess they are a troll. Will stop replying now.
