Nah i just wanted to say the game looked crap, thats all.

Maybe its got something to do with having to cover both pc and console gamers now, or that gaming now has to be more accessable to the kind of 15yo that 'squee's' like i was talking about.. but their games are being dumbed down and its kinda sad to see.

I know it will sound like im trolling but im really not. Its just  that Im pretty dissapointed with Bioware and the direction their games are going in. The new art-direction is all cartoony and anime inspired.. over-the-top animations, weapons rediculously huge yet having no actual impact on whatever theyre hitting. Urgh.

For the sequel of a game that was billed as the 'spiritual successor of Baldurs Gate' it seems the whole thing has just been dumbed-down. Maybe im getting old I cant help but feel like bioware has sold-out. Is the next game just gonna be a dating simulator for 15 yo's to "squee" at.. urgh

But he didn't have a fair criticism! All he said was that game look terrible, crap, 'abortion' of a game, inspired by anime, dumbed down, these are all condescending and not good arguments. He suggested Bioware 'sold-out' and it is implied by his post that people who like the new look of DA2 are immature/stupid. It doesn't mean other forum members should respect in the like, but there was no 'fair argument' to begin with.

Only origins was billed as the spiritual successor. They said for DA2 that they were trying to now make DA stand on its own. And more accessible does not mean dumbed down. it means more accessible

Also, you shouldn't be going off of what's on the Youtube demo. Yeah, that stuff is old, and it does look like crap. The demo that comes out on the 22nd has the better graphics. So if you're basing your arguement just on how the game looks from that youtube demo, well... You're basically misinforming yourself.



If you want to give the game a fair shot, download the demo on the 22nd when it comes out.



If your mind is already made up, then what's the point of coming here and pissing people off? Just don't buy the game. Problem solved.
