New vegas had a higher than average bug count than most games of this generation.

Based on that fact and the 15 min load times i think most RPGS this gen>new vegas

That include fable 3

WHERE IS LIZARD AVATAR

The maker told me the Lizard shall cause the fall of Society and in order to prevent it i must Get a new account,

I compromised by switching my avatar with a Dragon.

First you were turtle, then you were lizard, now you're an ABOMINATION! I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ANYMORE. WHO AM I, WHERE AM I? DOES ANY OF THIS MATTER?

Just install it into your harddrive, after that you'll never have to wait longer than 90 seconds on a loadscreen.  (less than 10 on more than half)  It's not obsidian's fault that the industry is being restrained by obsolete optical formats like dvd and blu-ray.  (If the next generation of consoles doesn't use a solid state format, i'm gonna be ticked.)

yes it is,
FO3 did fine,
Vegas was the buggiest game i played this gen, and i didn't even play the ps3 version.

Nothing in Fallout 3 was close to being as detailed as the strip. Believe it or not, loading more detailed environments takes more time.  And have you ever watched you console while it's trying to load a level off it's disc?  It's like watching a fat kid drink a gallon of pudding with a straw.

1.I had about 300 bullets once i was outta good springs, And 1000 caps, Who needs to even pick up ammo?
2.Too busy getting lost and stuck behind walls
3.Too bad it's all bland looking,
4.You can do that in ME2
5.The wasteland is boring just to walk around in. Period.
6.New vegas is silly, The whole story was a joke.
7.Too bad combat was point and click with vats or use the S***Y ironsights in real time.

1. Switch to hardcore mode, than you won't have room for 1000 bullets.
2. I said a debugged F:NV would be better
3. IMO F:NV armor>ME armor
4. Not with DLC armor
5. Obsidian could have made more detailed environments, but  there is a limit to the number of polys that can be loaded at once, and they sacrificed detail for size.
6. I disagree, the story was awesome.
7. Ok, i'll give you that one, the iron sights mode needs work.

actually if you got the strong back perk and the one that cuts weight in half for all things 2 punds and less its quite easy to never run out of ammo....and to say a debugged nv would be better is silly...ur taking away a games faults to make a comparrison...so you should do the same for ME to be fair

1.Put points into STR and a perk or two and you can.
2.But it's not Debugged, and even if it was it'd be more of the same that FO 3 did better. No innvation=staleness.
3.Well i don't agree with your opinion, and i think alot more work was put into ME2 armor.
4.Then don't buy that DLC
5.Yet i still have to go through 10 doors with loading screens every 5mins in new vegas. i had to rage quit twice before chugging my way through that damned city. FO3 achieved a far better Scenerey and with far less load times.
6.I disagree, Story was Point blank with no reason to keep me invested.
7.So does Vats, they literrally copy and pasted it from FO3 without mixing anything up.

I liked FO3 because it was different, my most regretful purchase this year is FNV simply because i could have just replayed FO3 for free.

I know it will sound like im trolling but im really not. Its just  that Im pretty dissapointed with Bioware and the direction their games are going in. The new art-direction is all cartoony and anime inspired.. over-the-top animations, weapons rediculously huge yet having no actual impact on whatever theyre hitting. Urgh.

For the sequel of a game that was billed as the 'spiritual successor of Baldurs Gate' it seems the whole thing has just been dumbed-down. Maybe im getting old I cant help but feel like bioware has sold-out. Is the next game just gonna be a dating simulator for 15 yo's to "squee" at.. urgh

What an abortion of a game.. bring on Skyrim

its funny, most people that attack others for bishing about the GFX and new combat style, are usually the same people that were just saying "GFX arent everything, its all about gameplay and story..."

thats kind of odd because the new changes they are defending are just as cosmetic as the a GFX overhaul. you see, because i am a real RPG fan, i didnt need to have fast paced action combat while playing DAO. most of RPG combat is decided before the fight even starts. thats what character customization is. so when i had to wait for my rogue to maneuver behind an enemy it didnt bother me that much.

sure combat could have been more responsive, but i didnt think about it ONCE, the whole time i played DAO. and DAO IS my #1 fave game of all time as of right now. and its been changed, and maybe for the wrong reasons. its just a sad fact that the majority of people who play this game are probably console gamers or people who came in thinking this would be an action game with RPG features. like every game is now in this era.

what i loved most about DAO was character development, visual look (i enjoyed the GFX and wished there were more tweaks like DX10 and more lighting and shadow affects) and i loved the reward system. i LOVED equipping my characters with gear.

and as for the GFX, i dont mind the slight look of stylized cartoonish characters. but i did feel like, while watching some of the new previews in 720p that they were a tad underwhelming, i cant imagine that dx11 and tesselation will add a huge difference since the shadowing and the bulk of lighting looks to be a sort of "pre rendered" emulation like in DAO.

dont get me wrong. im beyond stoked for DA2. i'm sure it will shoot striaght into my top 5 on day one. but this is just an honest opinion of a few changes i felt might be unecessary.

Then why'd it look so bad?
Poor design is poor. I don't careabout console limitations, others work within it, so can FONV if they had been smart.

Also i think i see you on DCUO forums

Im not mad dude, the game just looks pretty bad.. the demo on youtube = slash slash slash slash slash slash *yawn*.. i was just hoping for something better, bioware has made some awesome games, they dropped the ball on this though

Pc Gamer UK said it had the best RPG combat ever.

I doubt your 'slash slash yawn' analogy will hold true.

Because we should all trust in PC Gamer, since the last time they praised a game for combat this high was Oblivion

Um... what part of "spiritual successor" do we not understand, here?  I'm guessing it's the "spiritual" part.

Maybe BioWare should just cast Raise Dead on the Infinity Engine and make a game that looks like it was made twelve years ago and based on a decades-old license.  Think everyone would be pleased then?

It's peculiar how all the people complaining about DA2 and how it's worse than DA:O don't have DA:O registered. Now I'm not saying everyone should register their game but its strange that they're saying it's such a  disappointment from Origins when they don't have the game registered.

Example, this thread as well.

1. If that's where you like to put you SPECIAL points, than fine, but it still takes a while to collect 1000 bullets.  Even if fallout had infinite ammo, that would still be better than having to scavenge while under fire.
4. It was free.
5. Like i said, if you install the disc, the load screens within the strip will take literally less than a second.
7. They added melee weapon special attacks.

The Strip in NV was a joke. The game was basically marketed around Vegas and The Strip; you'd think the whole game would take place there but no...all we got were 3 blocks full of pretty lights and hookers, and it didn't really have an importance in the game.
