What is the deal with regards to importing the "latest" version of your character.

In terms of storyline, it is apparent that Witch Hunt takes place after Awakening.

However I have already played Witch Hunt and am about to start Awakening.

Given that events from Witch Hunt supposively carry over to Dragon Age II, will I have to play Witch Hunt AGAIN, after I beat Awakening?

Thanks.

well since youve played it in what i would deem the wrong order, then yes i would say so, plus in witch hunt your warden is nearly max level and is an absolute power house by this time which is probably why i would say you should play it again after awakening and golems

You probably have to, yes. Origins -> Awakening -> Golems -> Witch Hunt.Though Witch Hunt and the Golems deal (I never bothered with that one so far) honestly don't add that much. Probably nothing in DA2 anyway. But still, Witch Hunt takes what? 20 minutes? I just remember the sentinels taking really long at the beginning and then after 10 minutes going through the rest of the DLC... <_<

You cannot load a WH save file into Awakening. You can only load an ORIGINS save file into Awakening. The correct order for playing the same character is: Origins > Awakening > Golems > Witch Hunt.

If you look at your Bioware profile page, you'll see there's a log for each of your characters that checks off the decisions you made during the game. From what I've read in interviews, it is that information on the web site that Dragon Age II will use to create the Champion's world, not a PS3 or XBox360 save. I've looked at the checklist, and there really doesn't seem to be any decision that needs to be in a certain order, just whether or not a decision was made or mission completed. So even though you've done the DLCs in the "wrong order," I don't think it'll make much of a difference.

Is it even possible to import from Awakening to Witch hunt without glitching? Whenever i import my origins file into WH, it recognises i did the ritual, but with an Awakening import, it always bugs out and says i didn't do it.
