Besides, she is so damn cute! What other reason should there be?

Is it cause hes black? Im joking
But what if, kasumi liked shep too in that way, there could be a confrontation to jacob. OR if he died (on purpose) on the last mission then you have kasumi to yourself

I'm pretty sure that was a joke by the developers (either that or Shilling the Wesley). But it does seem unlikely that she'd become an LI (though if she did, I'd rather that she be bisexual).

1. She is DLC.
That could well be the main reason why she wouldnt be an LI.
Unless they add Kasumi to the base ME3 game PLUS the ME2 download linked to it (if present)

She is the only female character I actually really like / interested in, and she isn't even a 'full' character.
She is cute, mysterious, caring, funny, and playful (dare I say kinky as well
One a side note. I think Kasumi's crush on Jacob, would never be anything more than a crush, and it is just something to keep her mind off Keiji.
Plus, Imo Jacob seems to have feelings for Miranda, and Kasumi seems to be only interested in Jacob's looks / body.
Though a confrontation scene with Jacob in ME3 would be interesting...
Kasumi and Shepard seem to get on very well, and I would love for their 'relationship' to develop into something more passionate and meaningful

Also, before all the "there are already to many Li, why should every women fall for Shepard" people start posting, I think this post sums it up well:
Basically, not everyone has the same tastes, so more options would be nice (especially cute, mysterious, hooded, Japanese onesReplying to a Kasumi LI thread a while back: Mage One wrote...
I don't see it as everyone falling for Shepard. Rather, I see it as Shepard having a chance with anyone based on what kind of person your Shepard is....
And the Fact that she is DLC makes little difference, as everyone in your squad could die. Some people will have Kasumi, some won't...Some people will have (lets say) Garrus or Thane die, some won't.
Therefore it doesn't really matter, as not everybody will have every squadmate in ME3.

Contrary to popular believe not everyone needs to be a LI. Especially when the characters that aren't romanceable are generally more fun to talk to than the ones that are.

I'd rather NOT have Kasumi be an LI, thanks. She was the only female squaddie that didn't show interest in Shepard at some point.
Miranda or jack never showed interest. only if you talk to them after ever single mission up to horizon.
Taliimo is the only one who throws herself at shep

This is hardly a compelling argument.
It's basically saying that "It's not like every woman wants you, it's only the ones you choose to want who will want you back."
For a start, that's not how characterisation works; it basically makes characters blank slates for you to imprint your own desires on. Characters are created in full. They are designed to have their own opinions, attractions and thoughts, obviously these thoughts are not always shown, but it is how character designing is done, or else they aren't believable.
Examples:
- Tali always likes Male Shep, regardless. Opens up if you tell her you like her too.
- Miranda is impressed by Shepard, but is too focused on mission to think about it. Willing to admit interest if you show interest in her.
- Jack doesn't have any real interest in you as she distances herself from everyone. Should you show her you are not like all the nasty people she is used to, she starts to feel closer to you and trust you, and feelings develop.
If they made every single person potentially attracted to Shepard, then the amount of reasons, stories and development they'd have to include to make each one believable would border on ridiculous.
Don't get me wrong, I like Kasumi's character, and think she'd make an interesting LI, but I am firmly against the idea of every single person Shepard meets wanting to jump him/her.

It's shilling the wesley because she's not interested in Shep?
What I got from her little crush on Jacob, other than it being funny, was that it was discouraging the idea that she'd ever be a romance. She's DLC for starters so that was already a major strike.
